In the 13th minute, Kosisochukwu Oludimu ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Iroawuchi Adelabu was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. The audience was convinced that Tarila Sharah's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Lawrence Edereho was relentless in the 17th minute of the game. After some fancy dribbling in the 20th minute, Kosisochukwu Oludimu managed to get in a good position for a shot. Deal FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Kosisochukwu Oludimu was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Iroawuchi Adelabu breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After some careless play in the Wootton Bassett defense, Kosisochukwu Oludimu kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Iroawuchi Adelabu. The Wootton Bassett fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Iroawuchi Adelabu should have stopped the shot. Iroawuchi Adelabu didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Kosisochukwu Oludimu went, in the 29th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-3 was the resulting score. Isaac Mochaa sent away a hard shot on goal in the 33rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After a defensive mix-up in Deal FC's zone, Isaac Mochaa stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Lawrence Edereho came out of the goal and Isaac Mochaa tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-3 lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Tarila Sharah stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Tarila Sharah fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 55th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Lawrence Edereho having to interfere. 62 minutes into the game, Ahmadu Aro was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Deal FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Wootton Bassett the free kick. After 62 played minutes Deal FC got a freekick which was hit by Ahmadu Aro . Tarila Sharah recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 65th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Akamadu Fashiro sent away a hard shot on goal in the 67th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 84th match minute, Wootton Bassett was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Simon Enoch to maneuver through the defense. If Akamadu Fashiro had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 85th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead.
