Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Ifenemonye Balogun started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. 1-0 became the score in the 16th minute when Okwudiliolisa Ahula elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. Ifenemonye Balogun sent away a hard shot on goal in the 21st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After a defensive mix-up in Heathrow Airport United's zone, Okwudiliolisa Ahula stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Obafemi Mmoh came out of the goal and Okwudiliolisa Ahula tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 28th minute, Okwudiliolisa Ahula reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Obafemi Mmoh. The goal made the score 2-0. In the 34th minute, Omeokachie Ayorinde ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Obafemi Mmoh was frozen by the shot and now it was 3-0. After some fancy dribbling in the 39th minute, Ifenemonye Balogun managed to get in a good position for a shot. Heathrow Airport United's supporters rose to their feet, but Ifenemonye Balogun was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Iwobi Nwilene breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 3-0 at half-time.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Okwudiliolisa Ahula to make the kick off. Tasiu Udem's late challenge caught a Heathrow Airport United's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Tasiu Udem helped the player get up and apologised. After 51 played minutes Hayling Island got a freekick which was hit by Tasiu Udem. After 54 played minutes Hayling Island got a freekick which was hit by Eberechukwu Najoji. Omeokachie Ayorinde received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 58th minute. Obafemi Mmoh tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Okwudiliolisa Ahula in the 68th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Obafemi Mmoh prevented the ball from getting in the gole. If Iwobi Shonubi had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 70th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When Eberechukwu Najoji fell near the penalty area in the 78th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Hayling Island's protests and gave Eberechukwu Najoji a yellow card for diving instead. In the 78th match minute, Hayling Island was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Eberechukwu Najoji to maneuver through the defense. The supporters of Hayling Island booed when Heathrow Airport United was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 82 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ejimofor Umunnachi didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 85th minute, Tasiu Udem hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 88th minute of the match, Ifenemonye Balogun tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Iwobi Nwilene saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. Hayling Island's Iwobi Nwilene played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ifenemonye Balogun in the 93rd minute of play. Omeokachie Ayorinde fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 94th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Obafemi Mmoh having to interfere. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. Hayling Island fully deserved thier win.
