Ikenna Fasuba's late challenge caught a International SuperStar's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. After 29 played minutes, International SuperStar's Chukwuraenye Mekwu shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Yakwen Onuabunchi came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in International SuperStar reached it. After some fancy dribbling in the 30th minute, Onyemauchechi Ehigie managed to get in a good position for a shot. Nailsworth City's supporters rose to their feet, but Onyemauchechi Ehigie was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Emy Adaramola breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 33rd match minute, Nailsworth City was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Kabiru Afunugo to maneuver through the defense. 34 minutes into the match, Nailsworth City's goal looked a bit too open when Nebe Adelabu came free, but Yakwen Onuabunchi reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Bala Adedoyin kicked well hit freekick during the 39th minute of the match. The score stood at 1-1 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Ikenna Fasuba stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. In the 73rd minute, International SuperStar's Ayo Garo ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Yakwen Onuabunchi. Yakwen Onuabunchi yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-2. When Chukwuraenye Mekwu fell near the penalty area in the 79th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored International SuperStar's protests and gave Chukwuraenye Mekwu a yellow card for diving instead. Nwabuno Al-Makura walked up to take care of the penalty kick. He was aiming for the top corner, but the ball went just outside the post. 82 minutes into the match, International SuperStar's goal looked a bit too open when Ikenna Fasuba came free, but Emy Adaramola reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Nebe Adelabu's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Yakwen Onuabunchi read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 89th minute of play. Nebe Adelabu received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 93rd minute. Yakwen Onuabunchi tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 96 minutes into the match, Nailsworth City's goalkeeper Yakwen Onuabunchi had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Ayo Garo.
