With an extended leg and a bit of luck Chidiegwu Ughaelu prevented the ball from getting in the gole. A collision led to Swaffham FC getting a freekick after 6 minutes play. David Eshieshi hit a great ball. Zik Ikani kicked well hit freekick during the 8th minute of the match. If Eluem Alagala had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 10th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 15 minutes into the game, Comfort John was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Stanford le Hope City's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Swaffham FC the free kick. Ojore Ochegbulu's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Chidiegwu Ughaelu read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 16th minute of play. In the 37th match minute, Stanford le Hope City was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Comfort John to maneuver through the defense. An unexpectedly hard shot by Eluem Alagala in the 38th minute of play forced Stanford le Hope City's goalkeeper Chidiegwu Ughaelu to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Ihiabe Mohammed fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 43rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Otuonye Bazunu having to interfere. The supporters of Stanford le Hope City booed when Swaffham FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 44 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ado Darangi didn't get a good kick on the ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 49th minute, Ojore Ochegbulu managed to get in a good position for a shot. The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Ihiabe Mohammed to strike the kick off in the second half. After 57 played minutes Stanford le Hope City got a freekick which was hit by Udodimma Adeduro. 58 minutes into the match, Eluem Alagala notched a goal, 1-0, to the right of Stanford le Hope City's Chidiegwu Ughaelu. Chidiegwu Ughaelu was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Chidiegwu Ughaelu made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ojore Ochegbulu in the 61st minute of play. Swaffham FC's Eluem Alagala got a good chance for a goal in the 91st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Ojore Ochegbulu sent away a hard shot on goal in the 92nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. There was no doubt that Swaffham FC were the better team. Swaffham FC's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
