Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Chidiegwu Ihebulu started the match with the kick off. Ugochukwutubelum Kuta's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Uchenna Obiyo read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 2nd minute of play. Friday Ochwangi hit a great freekick 4 minutes into the match. After 9 minutes, Yakubu Dombraye mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Little Harrowden and the Hilltown FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. A collision led to Little Harrowden getting a freekick after 9 minutes play. Yakubu Dombraye hit a great ball. Uchenna Obiyo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Bright Akintola, who was totally free with the ball in the 11th minute. Uchenna Obiyo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ugochukwutubelum Kuta in the 14th minute of the match. If Ugochukwutubelum Kuta had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 22nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Osibajo Etafia made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Chidiegwu Ihebulu in the 25th minute of play. After a rather tough play, Little Harrowden's Yakubu Dombraye got a free kick in the 26th minute. Chigbo Kaku hit a great freekick 42 minutes into the match. When Little Harrowden's Ugochukwutubelum Kuta in the 43rd minute got a chance for a shot 43rd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Hilltown FC's goalie prevented a goal. The score stood at 0-0 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Bright Akintola to strike the kick off in the second half. Bright Akintola fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 55th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Uchenna Obiyo having to interfere. In the 56th match minute, Hilltown FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ijendu Uduehi to maneuver through the defense. Shekwodiza Adegbite charged in rather forcefully in the 58th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Shekwodiza Adegbite the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The supporters of Little Harrowden booed when Hilltown FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 59 match minutes in a wonderful position. Shekwodiza Adegbite didn't get a good kick on the ball. An unexpected shot in the 60th minute by Ugochukwutubelum Kuta got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. A collision led to Hilltown FC getting a freekick after 60 minutes play. Choice Adewale hit a great ball. Bright Akintola blasted a shot towards the goal in the 66th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Uchenna Obiyo having to make a save. When Ugochukwutubelum Kuta came up free with the goalie in the 68th minute, the Little Harrowden fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Ugochukwutubelum Kuta couldn't finish the play. 70 minutes into the match, Ugochukwutubelum Kuta notched a goal, 0-1, to the right of Hilltown FC's Uchenna Obiyo. Uchenna Obiyo was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Bright Akintola fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 74th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Uchenna Obiyo having to interfere. The audience was convinced that Bright Akintola's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Uchenna Obiyo was relentless in the 77th minute of the game. Uchenna Obiyo made an important save on a dangerous shot by Bright Akintola in the 78th minute. A collision led to Hilltown FC getting a freekick after 80 minutes play. Lokon Audu hit a great ball. If Bright Akintola had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 83rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Chigbo Kaku kicked well hit freekick during the 84th minute of the match. After having played for 85 minutes, Ugochukwutubelum Kuta managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Little Harrowden's supporters crossed their fingers, but Ugochukwutubelum Kuta was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Uchenna Obiyo made a fantastic save in the 90th minute, when Ugochukwutubelum Kuta sent off a good shot on target. Ugochukwutubelum Kuta received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 93rd minute. Uchenna Obiyo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 95 minutes into the game, Bright Akintola recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Uchenna Obiyo. Bright Akintola showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 0-2. The Hilltown FC fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Little Harrowden were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
