Abass Ogunmekan made an important save on a dangerous shot by Sabo Tsehe in the 25th minute. Sabo Tsehe received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 28th minute. Abass Ogunmekan tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 32 minutes into the match, West Buckland's goal looked a bit too open when Udo Odiah came free, but Otutodilichukwu Utaka reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After having played for 58 minutes, Dosu Uwakwe managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. West Buckland's supporters crossed their fingers, but Dosu Uwakwe was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After 65 played minutes West Buckland got a freekick which was hit by Abdullahi Fatai. Mala Omehia received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 71st minute. The tension between the West Buckland and the Pirate Captain F.C players grew even worse after the yellow card. Abass Ogunmekan showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Chimaobim Jatau in the 82nd minute of the match. Otutodilichukwu Utaka showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Udo Odiah, who was totally free with the ball in the 85th minute. 88 minutes into the game, Sabo Tsehe cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-0. Abass Ogunmekan was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Chimaobim Jatau received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 92nd minute. After 99 played minutes, Pirate Captain F.C's Iroawuchi Ibileke shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Otutodilichukwu Utaka came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Pirate Captain F.C reached it.
