The referee showed Nebeolisa Daika the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Nebeolisa Daika hit a great freekick 36 minutes into the match. 37 minutes into the match, Sutton Valence's Furo Abiola broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. 39 minutes into the match, Mojolaoluwa Omenka had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Badamasi Ejide. Rockers United's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Mojolaoluwa Omenka was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-2. The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Babajide Odoko was the one to do the kick off. In the 68th minute, Ajayi Dunmade hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Chika Okiemute stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Babajide Odoko's shot from short distance in the 70th minute. Sutton Valence's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Furo Abiola in the 74th minute. Sutton Valence's Olalekan Tiger was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Badamasi Ejide in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. Badamasi Ejide showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Olalekan Tiger, who was totally free with the ball in the 76th minute. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Tobenna Onigbanjo during the 79th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Mojolaoluwa Omenka received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 91st minute. Badamasi Ejide tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Ajayi Dunmade fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 93rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Chika Okiemute having to interfere. The audience thought a goal was coming when Mojolaoluwa Omenka got free with Badamasi Ejide in the 96th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Babajide Odoko scored 2-4 in the 97th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Chika Okiemute, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. Sutton Valence walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
