With a couple of smart ball manuevers Olisanugo Achilike in the 15th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Ete Charlie Affe saved Sawbridgeworth AFC from getting behind. Sawbridgeworth AFC's Sampson Oyeoku got a good chance for a goal in the 18th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 21stth minute of the game Sampson Oyeoku who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Halton Holegate AFC's Adegun Elejiko was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Sampson Oyeoku fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 24th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Adegun Elejiko having to interfere. Mbadiwe Okonkwo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 26th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Adegun Elejiko having to interfere. Ete Charlie Affe showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Olisanugo Achilike in the 34th minute of the match. Seyi Owoeri kicked well hit freekick during the 37th minute of the match. If Mbadiwe Okonkwo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 40th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Duada Hashimu's late challenge caught a Sawbridgeworth AFC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Duada Hashimu helped the player get up and apologised. The supporters of Sawbridgeworth AFC booed when Halton Holegate AFC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 41 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ete Charlie Affe was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. After taking down the ball on Halton Holegate AFC's corner Kieffers Mutawalle fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Ete Charlie Affe quite easily take care of the ball. With an all-out effort, Sawbridgeworth AFC's Adegun Elejiko threw himself towards the right post 78 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Mbadiwe Okonkwo, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. If Osar Ayara had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 80th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Adegun Elejiko took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Mbadiwe Okonkwo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 93rd minute the ball was on its way in behind Sawbridgeworth AFC's goalkeeper Ete Charlie Affe, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Osar Ayara recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 94th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Sawbridgeworth AFC's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
