After a defensive mix-up in Beast FC's zone, Benneth Agbi stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Bolakale Mbanongun came out of the goal and Benneth Agbi tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The audience was convinced that Edorisi Akparanta's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Bolakale Mbanongun was relentless in the 16th minute of the game. 16 minutes in the game, Edorisi Akparanta dribbled his way through the penalty area and after maneuvering past an opponent, drilled a quick shot at the goal. The ball looked like it was going in, but it was hit a bit too hard and flew over the goal. Dosu Famewo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Andy Awhu-whu in the 19th minute of play. The supporters of Lexxan booed when Beast FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 21 match minutes in a wonderful position. Nnmadi Alagala didn't get a good kick on the ball. Chukwuemeka Kamuche kicked well hit freekick during the 25th minute of the match. A collision led to Beast FC getting a freekick after 26 minutes play. Abiodun Opara hit a great ball. Chukwuemeka Kamuche recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 28th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Erhabor Adelekan struck a weak shot in the 30th minute. Bolakale Mbanongun didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Lexxan. After 32 minutes, Herbie Ajogi mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Beast FC and the Lexxan players grew even worse after the yellow card. Herbie Ajogi kicked well hit freekick during the 32nd minute of the match. Dosu Famewo made a fantastic save in the 36th minute, when Wilfred Nkwocha sent off a good shot on target. After 38 minutes, Margaret Alumona mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Lexxan and the Beast FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. In a very dangerous position, a player in Lexxan fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 37th minute. Penalty! When the match had been going on for 39 minutes, Beast FC's Abiodun Opara got an opportunity to shoot a penalty. He stayed cool and waited for the goalkeeper to move, before he confidently shot the ball into the goal, to the left of Dosu Famewo. Beast FC were awarded a corner in the 44th minute after Lexxan's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Abiodun Opara took the corner. The corner led Beast FC's Herbie Ajogi to fire away a dangerous shot which Dosu Famewo despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. Dosu Famewo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Wilfred Nkwocha in the 47th minute of the match. The first half was very even, with the score at 1-1 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

The wind increased when Edorisi Akparanta made the kick off in the second half. After some fancy dribbling in the 54th minute, Chukwuemeka Kamuche managed to get in a good position for a shot. Lexxan's supporters rose to their feet, but Chukwuemeka Kamuche was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Bolakale Mbanongun breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Dosu Famewo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from James Adanri in the 61st minute of the match. After 68 minutes, James Adanri mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Beast FC and the Lexxan players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 68 played minutes Beast FC got a freekick which was hit by James Adanri. Dosu Famewo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from James Adanri in the 70th minute of the match. Andy Awhu-whu sent away a hard shot on goal in the 75th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Dosu Famewo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from James Adanri, who was totally free with the ball in the 80th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Andy Awhu-whu in the 81st minute of play forced Lexxan's goalkeeper Dosu Famewo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 87th minute, Andy Awhu-whu left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Beast FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-1. Dosu Famewo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Andy Awhu-whu in the 90th minute of the match. A collision led to Lexxan getting a freekick after 91 minutes play. Chukwuemeka Kamuche hit a great ball. In the 94th minute Andy Awhu-whu shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Dosu Famewo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When the referee blew the final whistle, Beast FC could leave the field as winners, despite Lexxan having more of the ball for most of the match.
