Chikwendu Aiyetan struck a weak shot in the 31st minute. Abdu Eshieshi didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Morecambe. In the 34th match minute, Morecambe was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Okwukwe Obadiah to maneuver through the defense. Okwukwe Obadiah fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 42nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Abdu Eshieshi having to interfere. 45 minutes into the match, Morecambe's goal looked a bit too open when Halim Abisogun came free, but Nebeuwa Onwuzuruike reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The audience was convinced that Okwukwe Obadiah's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Abdu Eshieshi was relentless in the 48th minute of the game. Disappointed in the 0-1 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The wind increased when Okwukwe Obadiah made the kick off in the second half. 53 minutes into the match, Brampton City's goal looked a bit too open when Okwukwe Obadiah came free, but Abdu Eshieshi reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. A collision led to Brampton City getting a freekick after 54 minutes play. Anayo Abioye hit a great ball. If Chikwendu Aiyetan had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 56th minute. Brampton City's supporters crossed their fingers, but Ini Odey was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 64 minutes into the match, Brampton City's goal looked a bit too open when Okwukwe Obadiah came free, but Abdu Eshieshi reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Abdu Eshieshi came out of the goal in the 65th minute to try and stop a shot by Morecambe's Chikwendu Aiyetan. But to his dismay, Chikwendu Aiyetan quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-2. In the 70th minute, Anayo Abioye hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The audience thought a goal was coming when Halim Abisogun got free with Nebeuwa Onwuzuruike in the 79th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Nebeuwa Onwuzuruike showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ini Odey, who was totally free with the ball in the 82nd minute. In the 82nd minute, Istifanus Orjinta hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. If Ini Odey had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 84th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Abdu Eshieshi showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Chikwendu Aiyetan, who was totally free with the ball in the 86th minute. In the 87th minute of the match, Ini Odey tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Nebeuwa Onwuzuruike saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. The crowd rose to their feet as Brampton City's Halim Abisogun slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Nebeuwa Onwuzuruike. That made the score 1-3 after 91 minutes of play. The attack was good, but when Halim Abisogun in the 94th minute was about to shoot he didn't kick quite good enough and the ball went high over goal. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. Brampton City walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
