Udochukwu Omorodion came out of the goal and Chukwuemeka Kamuche tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Dosu Famewo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Chinwe Abiola, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Udochukwu Omorodion showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Edorisi Akparanta, who was totally free with the ball in the 21st minute. Samson Etoh Adeeko succeeded to score despite a near miss that spronge from right pole into the goal to 1-0 in the 27th playminute. Dosu Famewo was out of position in the 30 minute of play, and Chinwe Abiola capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Chinwe Abiola really showed his touch with that goal: 2-0. After 33 minutes, Samson Etoh Adeeko mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Arising star fa and the Lexxan players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 33 played minutes Arising star fa got a freekick which was hit by Samson Etoh Adeeko. 36 minutes into the match, Edorisi Akparanta notched a goal, 2-1, to the right of Arising star fa's Udochukwu Omorodion. Udochukwu Omorodion was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Edorisi Akparanta sent away a hard shot on goal in the 41st minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. If Omamofe Shorunmu had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 42nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. 43 minutes into the game, Chiekwugo Azazi was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Arising star fa's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Lexxan the free kick. In the 43rd match minute, Arising star fa was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Chiekwugo Azazi to maneuver through the defense. Lexxan's Edorisi Akparanta got a good chance for a goal in the 48th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar.

Edorisi Akparanta struck a weak shot in the 57th minute. Udochukwu Omorodion didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Lexxan. The crowd rose to their feet as Chukwuemeka Kamuche kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Udochukwu Omorodion. That made the score 2-3 in the 61 minute of play. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Edorisi Akparanta in the 65th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Udochukwu Omorodion prevented the ball from getting in the gole. 66 minutes into the match, Nnachetam Famewo had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Dosu Famewo. Lexxan's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Nnachetam Famewo was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 3-3. 72 minutes into the match, Arising star fa's goal looked a bit too open when Omamofe Shorunmu came free, but Udochukwu Omorodion reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Omamofe Shorunmu received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 74th minute. Udochukwu Omorodion tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The supporters of Lexxan booed when Arising star fa was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 75 match minutes in a wonderful position. Onyekaozulu Alumona didn't get a good kick on the ball. Dosu Famewo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Samson Etoh Adeeko, who was totally free with the ball in the 79th minute. After 80 played minutes Lexxan got a freekick which was hit by Ugochukwutubelum Ekpoki. 83 minutes into the match, Chinwe Abiola notched a goal, 4-3, to the right of Lexxan's Dosu Famewo. Dosu Famewo was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Chukwuemeka Kamuche during the 86th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 86th minute, Chukwuemeka Kamuche hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. With his leg Udochukwu Omorodion managed to avoid a goal in the 89thth minute, when Lexxan's Edorisi Akparanta fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Dosu Famewo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Samson Etoh Adeeko in the 90th minute of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 95th minute, Edorisi Akparanta managed to get in a good position for a shot. Lexxan's supporters rose to their feet, but Edorisi Akparanta was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Udochukwu Omorodion breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. A hard shot 97 in the game by Erhabor Adelekan from a close distance when the talented Udochukwu Omorodion managed to make a qualified save. Arising star fa's players were relieved.
