Tomi Siasia tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Ndukaku Amadi had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 18th minute. Jibril Anzigah made an important save on a dangerous shot by Ndukaku Amadi in the 46th minute. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-0.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Adolphus Egboh to strike the kick off in the second half. Ndukaku Amadi blasted a shot towards the goal in the 54th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Jibril Anzigah having to make a save. 55 minutes into the game, Abazu Osiro was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Bucknell's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Bromsgrove the free kick. Esomchi Abhulimhen hit a great ball. In the 70th minute Ike Abiakam shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Tomi Siasia saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Adolphus Egboh blasted a shot towards the goal in the 74th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Jibril Anzigah having to make a save. In the 85th minute, Bucknell's Ike Abiakam dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 3-1. Adolphus Egboh fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 93rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jibril Anzigah having to interfere. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. Bromsgrove had played much better football throughout.
