Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Edorisi Akparanta took the kick off in the first half of the match. When Edorisi Akparanta came up free with the goalie in the 4th minute, the Lexxan fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Edorisi Akparanta couldn't finish the play. Chikwendu Aiyetan could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 10th minute of the match, but Dosu Famewo made a huge save. With a little luck, Lexxan's Dosu Famewo got control of the ball when Kodilinyechukwu Amagu tried to sneak it across the goal line. The audience was convinced that Edorisi Akparanta's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Nebeuwa Onwuzuruike was relentless in the 14th minute of the game. Edorisi Akparanta received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 20th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Okwukwe Obadiah in the 28th minute of play forced Lexxan's goalkeeper Dosu Famewo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Dosu Famewo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Okwukwe Obadiah, who was totally free with the ball in the 32nd minute. Chukwuemeka Kamuche received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 37th minute. Nebeuwa Onwuzuruike tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 39 minutes, Ibekwe Nakudu mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Morecambe and the Lexxan players grew even worse after the yellow card. 38 minutes into the game, one of Morecambe:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. After some fancy dribbling in the 43rd minute, Erhabor Adelekan managed to get in a good position for a shot. Lexxan's supporters rose to their feet, but Erhabor Adelekan was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Nebeuwa Onwuzuruike breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After some fancy dribbling in the 45th minute, Edorisi Akparanta managed to get in a good position for a shot. Lexxan's supporters rose to their feet, but Edorisi Akparanta was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Nebeuwa Onwuzuruike breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 48 minutes into the match, Lexxan's goalkeeper Dosu Famewo had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Chikwendu Aiyetan. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-1.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Okwukwe Obadiah to strike the kick off in the second half. Edorisi Akparanta sent away a hard shot on goal in the 55th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After having played for 56 minutes, Erhabor Adelekan managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Lexxan's supporters crossed their fingers, but Erhabor Adelekan was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Morecambe's defense didn't have a chance, in the 58th minute, when Edorisi Akparanta scored to the left of an out of position Nebeuwa Onwuzuruike, making the score, 0-2. If Chikwendu Aiyetan had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 62nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 68th minute, Chukwuemeka Kamuche got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Okwukwe Obadiah in the 69th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Dosu Famewo saved Lexxan from getting behind. An unexpectedly hard shot by Kodilinyechukwu Amagu in the 71st minute of play forced Lexxan's goalkeeper Dosu Famewo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Nebeuwa Onwuzuruike showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Edorisi Akparanta in the 72nd minute of the match. After 75 minutes of play Morecambe's Ibekwe Nakudu was too eager in his attempt to stop his opponent and brought him down. With that he got his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. Ibekwe Nakudu hit a great freekick 75 minutes into the match. Dosu Famewo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Chikwendu Aiyetan in the 78th minute of play. If Edorisi Akparanta had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 84th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Dosu Famewo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Chikwendu Aiyetan in the 87th minute of the match. Hakeem Agu fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 88th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Dosu Famewo having to interfere. Margaret Alumona hit a great freekick 89 minutes into the match. 91 minutes into the match, Lexxan's goal looked a bit too open when Chikwendu Aiyetan came free, but Dosu Famewo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a rather tough play, Morecambe's Kodilinyechukwu Amagu got a free kick in the 92nd minute. Omamofe Shorunmu received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 94th minute. Nebeuwa Onwuzuruike tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The Morecambe fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Lexxan were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
