Bolakale Mbanongun made a fantastic save in the 35th minute, when Nike Adegoroye sent off a good shot on target. James Adanri took the ball and in the 39 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Kelvin Omanukwue. Kelvin Omanukwue dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-1. After a defensive mix-up in Huddersfield City's zone, James Adanri stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Kelvin Omanukwue came out of the goal and James Adanri tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play.

After 51 played minutes Huddersfield City got a freekick which was hit by Samson Agbokhode. After some fancy dribbling in the 53rd minute, James Adanri managed to get in a good position for a shot. Beast FC's supporters rose to their feet, but James Adanri was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Kelvin Omanukwue breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. James Adanri received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 55th minute. The home crowd let out a huge roar when the referee blew for the end of the game. Huddersfield City were victorious despite being under pressure from Beast FC for much of the match.
