Jibrin Nnamoko took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ini Odey, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Takuma Saubana hit a great freekick 6 minutes into the match. Halim Abisogun might have been able to make a better finish in the 8th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Jibrin Nnamoko. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Halim Abisogun ran back to his position shaking his head. After having played for 13 minutes, Enemuo Okobi managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Gold's supporters crossed their fingers, but Enemuo Okobi was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. When Somadina Omolara fell near the penalty area in the 18th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Gold's protests and gave Somadina Omolara a yellow card for diving instead. Chiefo Zeigbo shot the penalty kick right outside the post. Ini Odey received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 21st minute. Jibrin Nnamoko tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 1-0 became the score in the 23rd minute when Ini Odey elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. After 32 played minutes Ini Odey rounded Gold's defense and shot a beautiful shot into goal via left pole - 2-0. Jibrin Nnamoko stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Ini Odey's shot from short distance in the 35th minute. Jibrin Nnamoko didn't succeed to prevent the ball from going into goal when Brampton City's Halim Abisogun shot an unexpected shot in the crossbar's under edge and made 3-0 in the ordered_time% minute. The crowd rose to their feet as Ini Odey kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Jibrin Nnamoko. That made the score 4-0 in the 43 minute of play. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 4-0.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Enemuo Okobi to make the kick off. In the 51st minute, Eluem Omorere made a precise shot to the right of Jibrin Nnamoko. Gold's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 5-0. Jibrin Nnamoko didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Halim Abisogun went, in the 62nd minute, to the upper right corner, 6-0 was the resulting score. In the 71st minute Anayo Abioye shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jibrin Nnamoko saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 80 minutes into the game, Obiora Akinyugha cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 6-1. Abdu Eshieshi was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Ini Odey blasted a shot towards the goal in the 84th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Jibrin Nnamoko having to make a save. In the 85th minute, Halim Abisogun left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Brampton City fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 7-1. 88 minutes into the match, Gold's goal looked a bit too open when Halim Abisogun came free, but Jibrin Nnamoko reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Brampton City had played much better football throughout.
