If Ndukaku Amadi had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 24th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Udochukwu Omorodion didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Adolphus Egboh went, in the 30th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-1 was the resulting score. Chiekwugo Azazi hit a great freekick 40 minutes into the match. Uzochukwu Tutuola's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Udochukwu Omorodion read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 43rd minute of play. In the 44th match minute, Arising star fa was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Chiekwugo Azazi to maneuver through the defense. 45 minutes into the match, Adolphus Egboh notched a goal, 1-2, to the right of Arising star fa's Udochukwu Omorodion. Udochukwu Omorodion was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 1-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Samson Etoh Adeeko to strike the kick off in the second half. Udokamma Afolayan's late challenge caught a Arising star fa's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Udokamma Afolayan helped the player get up and apologised. When Ndukaku Amadi came up free with the goalie in the 63rd minute, the Bromsgrove fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Ndukaku Amadi couldn't finish the play. The supporters of Arising star fa booed when Bromsgrove was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 83 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ukaegbunam Maikunkele didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 84th minute, Essien Bolodeoku left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Arising star fa fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 3-2. Tony Aboyade received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 87th minute. Tomi Siasia tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Samson Etoh Adeeko in the 93rd minute of play forced Bromsgrove's goalkeeper Tomi Siasia to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. For all the effort they put into the match, the Bromsgrove players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Arising star fa.
