Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Andy Awhu-whu took the kick off in the first half of the match. In the 5th minute, Beast FC's Andy Awhu-whu dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-0. 11 minutes into the match, Fleetwood City's goal looked a bit too open when Andy Awhu-whu came free, but Oyeyiola Erogbogbo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Ebii Ekpo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 16th minute. Bolakale Mbanongun tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Oyeyiola Erogbogbo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from James Adanri in the 18th minute of play. Andy Awhu-whu received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 19th minute. Oyeyiola Erogbogbo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 20 minutes into the game, Andy Awhu-whu was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Beast FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Fleetwood City the free kick. In the 32nd minute, Nnmadi Alagala had to be helped off the field due to a pulled leg muscle. When Yisa Akingbogun fell near the penalty area in the 32nd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Fleetwood City's protests and gave Yisa Akingbogun a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to Fleetwood City getting a freekick after 33 minutes play. Yisa Akingbogun hit a great ball. Bolakale Mbanongun made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ebii Ekpo in the 37th minute of play. Beast FC's James Adanri got a good chance for a goal in the 38th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Beast FC's Wilfred Nkwocha got a good chance for a goal in the 40th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. James Adanri in the 41stth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Oyeyiola Erogbogbo, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. In the 44th minute, Beast FC's Mannaseh Namadi seemed to kick out at an opponent. The referee saw this and, surprisingly, showed Mannaseh Namadi the red card, dismissing him from the pitch. The coaching staff of Beast FC protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Mannaseh Namadi had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 44th minute of the game. One of Beast FC:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Fleetwood City:s goal. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

The wind increased when Paulinus Omoko made the kick off in the second half. After having played for 54 minutes, Wilfred Nkwocha managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Beast FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Wilfred Nkwocha was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. If Mohammed Yashim had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 56th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Paulinus Omoko in the 59th minute of play forced Beast FC's goalkeeper Bolakale Mbanongun to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 64 minutes into the game, Wilfred Nkwocha cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-1. Oyeyiola Erogbogbo was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Andy Awhu-whu received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 69th minute. Oyeyiola Erogbogbo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Oyeyiola Erogbogbo came out of the goal in the 70th minute to try and stop a shot by Beast FC's Bina Onyinyechi. But to his dismay, Bina Onyinyechi quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 3-1. If Wilfred Nkwocha had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 74th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Mohammed Yashim sent away a hard shot on goal in the 75th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 77 minutes into the match, Wilfred Nkwocha had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Oyeyiola Erogbogbo. Fleetwood City's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Wilfred Nkwocha was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 4-1. Wilfred Nkwocha struck a weak shot in the 84th minute. Oyeyiola Erogbogbo didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Beast FC. If Mohammed Yashim had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 85th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Wilfred Nkwocha received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 90th minute. Oyeyiola Erogbogbo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Bina Onyinyechi had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 91st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Bina Onyinyechi in the 93rd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Oyeyiola Erogbogbo prevented the ball from getting in the gole. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. Beast FC had played much better football throughout.
