The Teignmouth fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Ogo Onyeguocha should have stopped the shot. Ademola Oguche recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 40th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 44th minute, Nkemjika Udofia hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-2.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Udoka Tutuola was the one to do the kick off. After 51 played minutes, Farnham FC's Shehu Adejumo shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Ogo Onyeguocha came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Farnham FC reached it. 52 minutes into the game, Chiekwugo Ayila was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Teignmouth's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Farnham FC the free kick. Udoka Tutuola received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 59th minute. Aku Ekeh tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The crowd rose to their feet as Chigozie Omoduemuke kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Ogo Onyeguocha. That made the score 0-5 in the 83 minute of play. The audience was convinced that Udoka Tutuola's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Aku Ekeh was relentless in the 87th minute of the game. Udoka Tutuola fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 88th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Aku Ekeh having to interfere. Udoka Tutuola charged in rather forcefully in the 88th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Udoka Tutuola the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. A collision led to Teignmouth getting a freekick after 88 minutes play.
