After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

Bromyard's supporters rose to their feet, but Ajuluchukwu Jakada was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Enoch Alhasssan breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Ibekwe Asokuh didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Sunday Odumegwu went, in the 70th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-1 was the resulting score. After a rather tough play, Bromyard's Obafemi Udenkwor got a free kick in the 74th minute. Enoch Alhasssan showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Obafemi Udenkwor, who was totally free with the ball in the 77th minute. Enoch Alhasssan showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Bina Akintemi in the 80th minute of the match. Kodili Dada fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 83rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ibekwe Asokuh having to interfere. After a defensive mix-up in Hilperton City's zone, Obafemi Udenkwor stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Enoch Alhasssan came out of the goal and Obafemi Udenkwor tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 92nd minute, Christian Akpapunam hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Bromyard's Ibekwe Asokuh proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 94th minute of the match, managed to save Bromyard from getting a goal against them. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. Hilperton City had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
