Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Adegun Nnamoko took the kick off in the first half of the match. Ndubuagha Fatahi showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Chinagorom Adeyinka in the 5th minute of the match. Omolola Adimabua fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 13th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Iloabuchi Dandaraman having to interfere. Chinagorom Adeyinka received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 15th minute. Ndubuagha Fatahi tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Okolocha Felix Awu kicked well hit freekick during the 17th minute of the match. Kettering's Iloabuchi Dandaraman played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Adegun Nnamoko in the 18th minute of play. After a rather tough play, Kettering's Zina Iriah got a free kick in the 18th minute. Zina Iriah struck a weak shot in the 21st minute. Ndubuagha Fatahi didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Kettering. After some fancy dribbling in the 32nd minute, Omolola Adimabua managed to get in a good position for a shot. Immingham's supporters rose to their feet, but Omolola Adimabua was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Iloabuchi Dandaraman breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. If Onyewuchi Habu had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 35th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. In the 37th minute, Chinagorom Adeyinka left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Kettering fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. An unexpectedly hard shot by Adegun Nnamoko in the 42nd minute of play forced Kettering's goalkeeper Iloabuchi Dandaraman to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 44th minute Adegun Nnamoko shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Iloabuchi Dandaraman saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Adegun Nnamoko sent away a hard shot on goal in the 46th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Iloabuchi Dandaraman showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Adegun Nnamoko in the 48th minute of the match. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-1 lead.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Onyewuchi Habu to strike the kick off in the second half. Chinagorom Adeyinka recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 52nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. When Adegun Nnamoko came up free with the goalie in the 55th minute, the Immingham fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Adegun Nnamoko couldn't finish the play. Iloabuchi Dandaraman stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Adegun Nnamoko's shot from short distance in the 62nd minute. In the 63rd minute, Okolocha Felix Awu hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The audience was convinced that Adegun Nnamoko's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Iloabuchi Dandaraman was relentless in the 65th minute of the game. Okolocha Felix Awu hit a great freekick 66 minutes into the match. The supporters of Immingham booed when Kettering was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 71 match minutes in a wonderful position. Zina Iriah didn't get a good kick on the ball. When Omolola Adimabua came up free with the goalie in the 75th minute, the Immingham fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Omolola Adimabua couldn't finish the play. 81 minutes into the match, Okolocha Felix Awu notched a goal, 1-3, to the right of Immingham's Ndubuagha Fatahi. Ndubuagha Fatahi was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Chidozie Akinola hit a great freekick 85 minutes into the match. A collision led to Kettering getting a freekick after 87 minutes play. Fidelis Omogo hit a great ball. 88 minutes into the match, Immingham's Ishola Uke broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched Kettering eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
