Red wolf's supporters rose to their feet, but Chiawuotu Onashile was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Chuma Uche breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 9th minute, Chieloka Alachi hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Beckton's Chuma Uche played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Nkechi Ogolo in the 15th minute of play. Red wolf's Nkechi Ogolo was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Chuma Uche in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. Chuma Uche made a fantastic save in the 20th minute, when Raymond Donatus sent off a good shot on target. An unexpectedly hard shot by Nkechi Ogolo in the 27th minute of play forced Beckton's goalkeeper Chuma Uche to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When Beckton's Odii Yusuf in the 28th minute got a chance for a shot 28th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Red wolf's goalie prevented a goal. Chiawuotu Onashile fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 32nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Chuma Uche having to interfere. When Chukwujekwu Okon fell near the penalty area in the 33rd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Beckton's protests and gave Chukwujekwu Okon a yellow card for diving instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Nkechi Ogolo in the 36th minute of play forced Beckton's goalkeeper Chuma Uche to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The audience was convinced that Oyakhilome Efangwu's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Yoba Habu was relentless in the 38th minute of the game. Red wolf's Yoba Habu played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Odii Yusuf in the 42nd minute of play. After having played for 43 minutes, Odii Yusuf managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Beckton's supporters crossed their fingers, but Odii Yusuf was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After 45 played minutes Red wolf got a freekick which was hit by Chiawuotu Onashile. Yoba Habu came out of the goal in the 48th minute to try and stop a shot by Beckton's Oyakhilome Efangwu. But to his dismay, Oyakhilome Efangwu quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Nkechi Ogolo made a kick off. Beckton's Chuma Uche played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Halimnye Ajanaku in the 54th minute of play. 61 minutes into the match, Oyakhilome Efangwu notched a goal, 0-2, to the right of Red wolf's Yoba Habu. Yoba Habu was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. After 64 minutes of play Beckton's Chukwujekwu Okon was too eager in his attempt to stop his opponent and brought him down. With that he got his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. In the 64th match minute, Beckton was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Chukwujekwu Okon to maneuver through the defense. In the 66th minute of the match Chigbo Omotade sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Chuma Uche skillfully saved the ball. Nkechi Ogolo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 67th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Raymond Donatus sent away a hard shot on goal in the 80th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Nkechi Ogolo struck a weak shot in the 85th minute. Chuma Uche didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Red wolf. In the 87th minute Raymond Donatus shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Chuma Uche saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Chigbo Omotade hit a great freekick 90 minutes into the match. Chiawuotu Onashile took the ball and in the 92 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Chuma Uche. Chuma Uche dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-3. In the 95th match minute, Beckton was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Oyakhilome Efangwu to maneuver through the defense. In the 96th minute, Odii Yusuf hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Halimnye Ajanaku sent away a hard shot on goal in the 98th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The Red wolf supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Beckton's performance. The match ended with a win for Beckton.
