Onwughara Omanukwue stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Halimnye Ajanaku's shot from short distance in the 8th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Nkechi Ogolo in the 9th minute of play forced THE ELECTRONS's goalkeeper Onwughara Omanukwue to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Onwughara Omanukwue made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Chiawuotu Onashile in the 11th minute of play. The Red wolf fans' excitement grew in the 12th match minute when Red wolf's Nkechi Ogolo looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-1 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. THE ELECTRONS's Onwughara Omanukwue played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Chiawuotu Onashile in the 25th minute of play. If Chiawuotu Onashile had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 27th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Raymond Donatus received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 30th minute. Onwughara Omanukwue tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Halimnye Ajanaku fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 33rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Onwughara Omanukwue having to interfere. 35 minutes into the game, Red wolf's Raymond Donatus nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Onwughara Omanukwue made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-2. When Red wolf's Chiawuotu Onashile in the 38th minute got a chance for a shot 38th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye THE ELECTRONS's goalie prevented a goal. In the 41st minute, Raymond Donatus left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Red wolf fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-3. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Nkechi Ogolo in the 45th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Onwughara Omanukwue saved THE ELECTRONS from getting behind. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-3 lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Dayo Abonta to make the kick off. In the 52ndth minute of the game Nkechi Ogolo who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but THE ELECTRONS's Onwughara Omanukwue was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 54th minute, Halimnye Ajanaku managed to get in a good position for a shot. Red wolf's supporters rose to their feet, but Halimnye Ajanaku was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Onwughara Omanukwue breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The audience was convinced that Nkechi Ogolo's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Onwughara Omanukwue was relentless in the 56th minute of the game. In the 61st minute, Red wolf's Ubani Elejiko seemed to kick out at an opponent. The referee saw this and, surprisingly, showed Ubani Elejiko the red card, dismissing him from the pitch. The coaching staff of Red wolf protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Ubani Elejiko had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. Ubani Elejiko kicked well hit freekick during the 62nd minute of the match. THE ELECTRONS's Opah Adobu got a good chance for a goal in the 63rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Yoba Habu took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Dayo Abonta, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Onwughara Omanukwue made an important save on a dangerous shot by Amaechi Ukefi in the 71st minute. When Chiawuotu Onashile came up free with the goalie in the 73rd minute, the Red wolf fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Chiawuotu Onashile couldn't finish the play. Halimnye Ajanaku recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 75th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The supporters of Red wolf booed when THE ELECTRONS was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 76 match minutes in a wonderful position. Henry Maga didn't get a good kick on the ball. Yahamu Ehikwe kicked well hit freekick during the 76th minute of the match. Chiawuotu Onashile fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 78th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Onwughara Omanukwue having to interfere. 79 minutes into the match, THE ELECTRONS's goalkeeper Onwughara Omanukwue had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Halimnye Ajanaku. After some fancy dribbling in the 82nd minute, Halimnye Ajanaku managed to get in a good position for a shot. If Raymond Donatus had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 91st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 94th match minute, THE ELECTRONS was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Olaka Olubandele to maneuver through the defense. Yahamu Ehikwe kicked well hit freekick during the 96th minute of the match. After a defensive mix-up in THE ELECTRONS's zone, Chiawuotu Onashile stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Onwughara Omanukwue came out of the goal and Chiawuotu Onashile tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. When the final whistle sounded Red wolf left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than THE ELECTRONS.
