Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Obiajulu Achukwu kicked off to start the match. Oyakhilome Efangwu fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 9th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Omo Omotosho having to interfere. In the 14th minute, Odii Yusuf ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Omo Omotosho was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-0. Agustine Uchendu hit a great freekick 16 minutes into the match. Wilfred Sea received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 20th minute. Chuma Uche tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Oyakhilome Efangwu fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 22nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Omo Omotosho having to interfere. Odii Yusuf fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 33rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Omo Omotosho having to interfere. In the 34th match minute, Kings FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Olakunde Oguntade to maneuver through the defense. Odii Yusuf struck a weak shot in the 38th minute. Omo Omotosho didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Beckton. Oyakhilome Efangwu received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Omo Omotosho came out and tried to block the shot, but Oyakhilome Efangwu slotted it home off the left post making it 2-1 in the 40th minute. After 46 played minutes Kings FC got a freekick which was hit by Udegbunam Adeitan. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.
Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Oyakhilome Efangwu to make the kick off. The supporters of Kings FC booed when Beckton was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 52 match minutes in a wonderful position. Chieloka Alachi didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 54th minute, Oyakhilome Efangwu got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Oyakhilome Efangwu received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 59th minute. Omo Omotosho tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 60 minutes, Chukwujekwu Okon mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Beckton and the Kings FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. Wilfred Seas short, quick shot in the 61stth minute got Chuma Uche to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. With a little luck, Beckton's Chuma Uche got control of the ball when Wilfred Sea tried to sneak it across the goal line. After a defensive mix-up in Beckton's zone, Wilfred Sea stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Chuma Uche came out of the goal and Wilfred Sea tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 76 minutes into the match, Oyakhilome Efangwu had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Omo Omotosho. Kings FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Oyakhilome Efangwu was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 3-1. 82 minutes into the game, Ugonna Idagun was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Kings FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Beckton the free kick. Ugonna Idagun hit a great freekick 82 minutes into the match. When Oyakhilome Efangwu came up free with the goalie in the 83rd minute, the Beckton fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Oyakhilome Efangwu couldn't finish the play. Odii Yusuf sent away a hard shot on goal in the 87th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Odii Yusuf had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 89th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Omo Omotosho took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Odii Yusuf, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. There was no doubt that Beckton were the better team.
