Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Immingham's Adegun Nnamoko started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Ndubuagha Fatahi showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Nkechi Ikaba, who was totally free with the ball in the 4th minute. The supporters of Immingham booed when Godalming was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 7 match minutes in a wonderful position. Nwachinemelu Aatama didn't get a good kick on the ball. When Omolola Adimabua came up free with the goalie in the 8th minute, the Immingham fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Omolola Adimabua couldn't finish the play. After some fancy dribbling in the 17th minute, Adegun Nnamoko managed to get in a good position for a shot. Immingham's supporters rose to their feet, but Adegun Nnamoko was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Joy Ekhosuehi breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Omolola Adimabua fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 26th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Joy Ekhosuehi having to interfere. After 33 minutes, Udobata Chukwuegbo mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Immingham and the Godalming players grew even worse after the yellow card. A collision led to Immingham getting a freekick after 33 minutes play. Udobata Chukwuegbo hit a great ball. Chinagorom Nwada was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 34th played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. Ndubuagha Fatahi made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Nkechi Ikaba in the 38th minute of play. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Nkechi Ikaba made a kick off. After 52 minutes, Chinagorom Nwada mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Godalming and the Immingham players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 52nd minute, one of Godalming:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Godalming. Adegun Nnamoko sent away a hard shot on goal in the 62nd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. 62 minutes into the game, Immingham's Omolola Adimabua nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Joy Ekhosuehi made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-0. An unexpectedly hard shot by Omolola Adimabua in the 66th minute of play forced Godalming's goalkeeper Joy Ekhosuehi to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. If Adegun Nnamoko had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 68th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When the match had gone on for 72 minutes, Adegun Nnamoko put it in 3-0 from a short distance just to the right of Joy Ekhosuehi. 78 minutes into the game, Nwachinemelu Aatama cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 3-1. Ndubuagha Fatahi was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Nwachinemelu Aatama recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 82nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Godalming's Joy Ekhosuehi played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Omolola Adimabua in the 87th minute of play. A collision led to Immingham getting a freekick after 88 minutes play. Nkemdirim Abacha hit a great ball. When Adegun Nnamoko came up free with the goalie in the 91st minute, the Immingham fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Adegun Nnamoko couldn't finish the play.
