Friday Yekini dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-0. Bath FC's Friday Yekini proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 6th minute of the match, managed to save Bath FC from getting a goal against them. In the 8th minute, Onyekachi Dogo hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Mohammadu Adeeko struck a weak shot in the 14th minute. Hanyeolisa Adegoroye didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Bath FC. In the 15th minute, Obi Mbong hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Waga Oguche took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 16th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Hanyeolisa Adegoroye. Frodsham's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Frodsham's Hanyeolisa Adegoroye played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Nasidi Akinrolabu in the 21st minute of play. In the 24th minute of the match Dogo Okala sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Hanyeolisa Adegoroye skillfully saved the ball. If Mohammadu Adeeko had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 29th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a defensive mix-up in Frodsham's zone, Nasidi Akinrolabu stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Hanyeolisa Adegoroye came out of the goal and Nasidi Akinrolabu tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Hanyeolisa Adegoroye made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Nasidi Akinrolabu in the 32nd minute of play. Greg Otelaja struck a weak shot in the 33rd minute. Nasidi Akinrolabu scored 1-1 in the 35th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Hanyeolisa Adegoroye, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Hanyeolisa Adegoroye showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Nasidi Akinrolabu, who was totally free with the ball in the 39th minute. If Dick Nwigwe had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 43rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Dick Nwigwe was the one to do the kick off. Friday Yekini made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Obi Mbong in the 51st minute of play. Dick Nwigwe fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 55th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Friday Yekini having to interfere. Pius Donatus kicked well hit freekick during the 56th minute of the match. In the 68th minute the ball was on its way in behind Bath FC's goalkeeper Friday Yekini, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Duke Ademayowa hit a great freekick 70 minutes into the match. Hanyeolisa Adegoroye showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Nasidi Akinrolabu, who was totally free with the ball in the 73rd minute. Dick Nwigwe fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 74th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Friday Yekini having to interfere. Nasidi Akinrolabu might have been able to make a better finish in the 79th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Hanyeolisa Adegoroye. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Nasidi Akinrolabu ran back to his position shaking his head. After some fancy dribbling in the 81st minute, Dick Nwigwe managed to get in a good position for a shot. Frodsham's supporters rose to their feet, but Dick Nwigwe was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Friday Yekini breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Friday Yekini didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Greg Otelaja went, in the 84th minute, to the upper right corner, 2-1 was the resulting score. 86 minutes into the game, Duke Ademayowa was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Frodsham's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Bath FC the free kick. A collision led to Frodsham getting a freekick after 86 minutes play. Duke Ademayowa hit a great ball. Mohammadu Adeeko received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 87th minute. Hanyeolisa Adegoroye tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Nasidi Akinrolabu recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 91st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The second half was just like the first, even and exciting. The match ended in a draw.
