Pius Donatus's late challenge caught a Knottingley FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Pius Donatus helped the player get up and apologised. Pius Donatus kicked well hit freekick during the 36th minute of the match. Akubundu Bunu stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Mohammadu Adeeko's shot from short distance in the 38th minute. When the match clock showed 42 minutes, the score became 0-1 when Mohammadu Adeeko sped through Knottingley FC's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Akubundu Bunu.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Nasidi Akinrolabu made a kick off. Friday Yekini showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Onoriode Nnorom, who was totally free with the ball in the 55th minute. Chima Okerulu kicked well hit freekick during the 60th minute of the match. In the 61st minute of the match Waga Oguche shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Akubundu Bunu showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. A collision led to Knottingley FC getting a freekick after 67 minutes play. Osita Ojibara hit a great ball. Mohammadu Adeeko sent away a hard shot on goal in the 68th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Thanks to some nice moves Mohammadu Adeeko could shoot a difficult shot in the 73rd minute, which Akubundu Bunu however easily saved by the left post. In the 75thth minute of the game Nasidi Akinrolabu who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Knottingley FC's Akubundu Bunu was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 78th minute Pius Donatus shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Akubundu Bunu saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 81st match minute, Knottingley FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Chima Okerulu to maneuver through the defense. Osita Ojibara hit a great freekick 84 minutes into the match. After a rather tough play, Knottingley FC's Osita Ojibara got a free kick in the 87th minute. 87 minutes into the match, Bath FC's Waga Oguche broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. After 91st play minutes Nasidi Akinrolabu shot 0-2, a short shot which went by Akubundu Bunu and just under the crossbar into goal. Mohammadu Adeeko recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 94th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Bath FC played a much better game than Knottingley FC and deserved their victory. The Knottingley FC players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
