Mohammadu Okozi received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 31st minute. Hanyeolisa Adegoroye tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 32nd minute the ball was on its way in behind Frodsham's goalkeeper Hanyeolisa Adegoroye, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. When Duke Ademayowa fell near the penalty area in the 34th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The supporters of Levenshulme City booed when Frodsham was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 71 match minutes in a wonderful position. Obi Mbong didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 86 played minutes Isaac Achi shot from long distance. At first the shot seemed to be simple for Frodsham's Hanyeolisa Adegoroye to catch but Isaac Achi was lucky. It became 1-4 after the goalkeeper had been careless and dropped the ball into goal. Wasiu Omeokachie hit a great freekick 91 minutes into the match. Frodsham's Dick Nwigwe got a good chance for a goal in the 93rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched Frodsham eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
