Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Dahunsi Obiamaka started the match with the kick off. If Ifesinachi Musa had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 4th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Olalekan Ezeagba made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Dick Nwigwe in the 14th minute of play. Greg Otelaja recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 15th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Frodsham's Greg Otelaja got a good chance for a goal in the 17th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 24th minute the ball was on its way in behind Chuks FC's goalkeeper Olalekan Ezeagba, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. In the 26th minute, Onyekachi Dogo hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Chuks FC's Chikwendu Kachallah got a good chance for a goal in the 26th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Duke Ademayowa kicked well hit freekick during the 28th minute of the match. Hanyeolisa Adegoroye made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Dahunsi Obiamaka in the 29th minute of play. Onyekachi Dogo hit a great freekick 31 minutes into the match. Dahunsi Obiamaka received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 35th minute. Hanyeolisa Adegoroye tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Hanyeolisa Adegoroye took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Dahunsi Obiamaka, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 38th minute the ball was on its way in behind Chuks FC's goalkeeper Olalekan Ezeagba, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Chuks FC's Olalekan Ezeagba played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Obi Mbong in the 42nd minute of play. Olalekan Ezeagba didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Dick Nwigwe went, in the 46th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-1 was the resulting score. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-1 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Dick Nwigwe made a kick off. Greg Otelaja fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 54th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Olalekan Ezeagba having to interfere. Olalekan Ezeagba showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Dick Nwigwe, who was totally free with the ball in the 56th minute. Daniel Udechukwu kicked well hit freekick during the 59th minute of the match. When Daniel Udechukwu fell near the penalty area in the 61st minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Chuks FC's protests and gave Daniel Udechukwu a yellow card for diving instead. Daniel Udechukwu hit a great freekick 62 minutes into the match. After a rather tough play, Frodsham's Osar Abodunde got a free kick in the 65th minute. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Dahunsi Obiamaka in the 67th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Hanyeolisa Adegoroye prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After 75th play minutes Dahunsi Obiamaka shot 1-1, a short shot which went by Hanyeolisa Adegoroye and just under the crossbar into goal. Ettah Ayoka recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 80th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Greg Otelaja received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 82nd minute. Olalekan Ezeagba tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When the match clock showed 86 minutes, the score became 2-1 when Dahunsi Obiamaka sped through Frodsham's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Hanyeolisa Adegoroye. After some careless play in the Frodsham defense, Dahunsi Obiamaka kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Hanyeolisa Adegoroye. The Frodsham fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Hanyeolisa Adegoroye should have stopped the shot. Obi Mbong charged in rather forcefully in the 95th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Obi Mbong the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 95 played minutes Frodsham got a freekick which was hit by Obi Mbong. Chikwendu Kachallah, 96 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. For all the effort they put into the match, the Frodsham players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Chuks FC.
