Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Nwokezuike Adaga took the kick off in the first half of the match. Greg Otelaja took the ball and in the 3 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Anorigwo Oladele. Anorigwo Oladele dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-0. In the 7th minute, Isah Kabir hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When Nwokezuike Adaga came up free with the goalie in the 11th minute, the Enyimba fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Nwokezuike Adaga couldn't finish the play. After a rather tough play, Frodsham's Duke Ademayowa got a free kick in the 12th minute. In the 19th match minute, Enyimba was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Mudashiru Bamsebi to maneuver through the defense. A collision led to Frodsham getting a freekick after 20 minutes play. Duke Ademayowa hit a great ball. In the 21st minute Nwokezuike Adaga shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Hanyeolisa Adegoroye saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Anorigwo Oladele made a fantastic save in the 23rd minute, when Greg Otelaja sent off a good shot on target. In the 26thth minute of the game Dick Nwigwe who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Enyimba's Anorigwo Oladele was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. 31 minutes into the game, Dahunsi Ughaelu cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-1. Hanyeolisa Adegoroye was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. When Greg Otelaja got free in front of the goal in the 34th minute he wasn't very focused and chipped the ball just over the goal. Anorigwo Oladele was delighted since he was out of position and the ball would have got in if it had gone under the crossbar. Dick Nwigwe's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Anorigwo Oladele read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 37th minute of play. Hanyeolisa Adegoroye showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Dahunsi Ughaelu, who was totally free with the ball in the 41st minute. 45 minutes into the match, Frodsham's Kambinachi Adeyinka broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. In the 48th minute, Duke Ademayowa got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal.

The wind increased when Dick Nwigwe made the kick off in the second half. If Dick Nwigwe had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 52nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Obi Mbong fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 63rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Anorigwo Oladele having to interfere. Hanyeolisa Adegoroye took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Nwokezuike Adaga, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Dahunsi Ughaelu recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 67th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. When Frodsham's Greg Otelaja in the 69th minute got a chance for a shot 69th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Enyimba's goalie prevented a goal. Anorigwo Oladele didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Greg Otelaja went, in the 73rd minute, to the upper right corner, 2-1 was the resulting score. Dahunsi Ughaelu received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 78th minute. Hanyeolisa Adegoroye tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Greg Otelaja in the 83rd minute of play forced Enyimba's goalkeeper Anorigwo Oladele to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 86th minute, Mudashiru Bamsebi hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The supporters of Enyimba booed when Frodsham was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 88 match minutes in a wonderful position. Onyekachi Dogo didn't get a good kick on the ball. Hanyeolisa Adegoroye made an important save on a dangerous shot by Dahunsi Ughaelu in the 89th minute. In the 91st minute Enyimba were awarded a corner. Isah Kabir went to the cornerflag to take it. The goalkeeper smacked the ball away after a great corner, but Mudashiru Bamsebi advanced and headed the ball into goal, 2-2 in the 91st minute. The Enyimba players were the happier at the end of the match as they had prevented Frodsham from taking control. The game ends in a draw.
