Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000,
Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Ositadimma Olaoye started the match with the kick off. If Mohammadu Okozi had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 5th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Chuma Etete sent away a hard shot on goal in the 7th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 10th minute, Chuma Etete made a precise shot to the right of Akubundu Adefulu. Lincoln FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-1. With a little luck, Levenshulme City's Samson Etoh Agbonavbare got control of the ball when Chukwuraenye Arumona tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 20th minute, Mohammadu Okozi ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Akubundu Adefulu was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-2. The audience thought a goal was coming when Chukwuraenye Arumona got free with Samson Etoh Agbonavbare in the 23rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Chukwuraenye Arumona sent away a hard shot on goal in the 37th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Samson Etoh Agbonavbare showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ositadimma Olaoye in the 47th minute of the match. The Lincoln FC players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Levenshulme City were winning 0-2.
The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Chuma Etete stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Comfort Egboh's late challenge caught a Levenshulme City's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Comfort Egboh helped the player get up and apologised. In a very dangerous position, a player in Lincoln FC fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 52nd minute. Penalty! The referee gave Levenshulme City a penalty, 54 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Isaac Achi, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Lincoln FC's Akubundu Adefulu. 0-3. Samson Etoh Agbonavbare stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Ositadimma Olaoye's shot from short distance in the 59th minute. 64 minutes into the match, Lincoln FC's goal looked a bit too open when Chuma Etete came free, but Akubundu Adefulu reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Chukwuraenye Arumona recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 71st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Lincoln FC's Akubundu Adefulu played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Chuma Etete in the 75th minute of play. Samson Etoh Agbonavbare came out of the goal in the 77th minute to try and stop a shot by Lincoln FC's Chukwuraenye Arumona. But to his dismay, Chukwuraenye Arumona quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-3. Chukwuraenye Arumona received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 80th minute. Samson Etoh Agbonavbare tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 85th minute, Nyongun Uchenna hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 86th minute, Ositadimma Olaoye got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 88 minutes into the game, Egutu Bankole was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Lincoln FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Levenshulme City the free kick. In the 88th match minute, Lincoln FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Egutu Bankole to maneuver through the defense. Isaac Achi struck a weak shot in the 89th minute. Akubundu Adefulu didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Levenshulme City. Akubundu Adefulu was in exellent shape and made a fantastic save when he, in the 94th minute of the match, managed to get hold of the ball after a long shot from Abdulsalami Arowolo. In the 98th match minute, Levenshulme City was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Chukwuraenye Affianah to maneuver through the defense. An unexpectedly hard shot by Chukwuraenye Arumona in the 99th minute of play forced Levenshulme City's goalkeeper Samson Etoh Agbonavbare to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched Levenshulme City eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
