Thanks to some nice moves Nna Ogbo could shoot a difficult shot in the 4th minute, which Obialo Onyemachi however easily saved by the left post. A collision led to Birkk FC getting a freekick after 6 minutes play. Auwalu Dalhatu hit a great ball. The crowd rose to their feet as Achebe Okeke kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Obialo Onyemachi. That made the score 1-0 in the 15 minute of play. Obialo Onyemachi made a fantastic save in the 19th minute, when Nna Ogbo sent off a good shot on target. After a rather tough play, Birkk FC's Achebe Okeke got a free kick in the 22nd minute. In the 33rd minute Okelola Etafia shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ikem Isu saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The crowd rose to their feet as Birkk FC's Achebe Okeke slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Obialo Onyemachi. That made the score 2-0 after 36 minutes of play. The referee felt a red card was in order, 40 minutes into the game, when Ebii Onwumechili put in a rough tackle. A collision led to Paulinam fc getting a freekick after 41 minutes play. Ebii Onwumechili hit a great ball. Ikem Isu showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Okelola Etafia in the 46th minute of the match. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 2-0 at half-time.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Achebe Okeke made a kick off. Obialo Onyemachi took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Achebe Okeke, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After some careless play in the Paulinam fc defense, Nna Ogbo kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Obialo Onyemachi. The Paulinam fc fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Obialo Onyemachi should have stopped the shot. In the 69th minute Achebe Okeke shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Obialo Onyemachi saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Okelola Etafia received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 72nd minute. Ikem Isu tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Okelola Etafia's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 77thth minute, Ikem Isu skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. After a defensive mix-up in Paulinam fc's zone, Achebe Okeke stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Obialo Onyemachi came out of the goal and Achebe Okeke tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 81 minutes into the game, Birkk FC's Nna Ogbo nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Obialo Onyemachi made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 4-0. Paulinam fc's Ifeajuna Uwen quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Nwabugwu Bichi, made in the 87th minute of the game. 89 minutes into the game, Nna Ogbo cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 5-0. Obialo Onyemachi was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. After 92 played minutes Paulinam fc got a freekick which was hit by Yusuf Okatahi. 94 minutes into the match, Achebe Okeke notched a goal, 6-0, to the right of Paulinam fc's Obialo Onyemachi. Obialo Onyemachi was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Birkk FC's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
