Spectators: 5043 (Terracing: 4040, Seating: 1002, VIP seats: 1) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Achebe Okeke made the kick off which started today's match. In the 3rd match minute, Birkk FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Toluwalogo Fujumo to maneuver through the defense. After some fancy dribbling in the 4th minute, Abass Otelaja managed to get in a good position for a shot. Daniel united's supporters rose to their feet, but Abass Otelaja was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Ikem Isu breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 6th minute, Obidimkpa Ahmed hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Ijeli Mbong sent away a hard shot on goal in the 14th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Daniel united's Aderounmu Njoku played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Nna Ogbo in the 23rd minute of play. If Emelogu Okechi had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 25th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Ikem Isu came out of the goal in the 27th minute to try and stop a shot by Daniel united's Abass Otelaja. But to his dismay, Abass Otelaja quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-0. Aderounmu Njoku showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Nwabugwu Bichi, who was totally free with the ball in the 38th minute. If Abass Otelaja had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 47th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Af the end of the first half the score was 1-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Abass Otelaja made a kick off. In the 56th minute Abass Otelaja shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ikem Isu saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Achebe Okeke received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 62nd minute. Aderounmu Njoku tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When Abass Otelaja came up free with the goalie in the 68th minute, the Daniel united fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Abass Otelaja couldn't finish the play. Ikem Isu showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ijeli Mbong in the 74th minute of the match. Kunaiyi Oladapo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 77th minute. Ikem Isu tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Ikem Isu took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Abass Otelaja, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Ijeli Mbong sent away a hard shot on goal in the 83rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Ijeli Mbong recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 94th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After 95 played minutes Birkk FC got a freekick which was hit by Toluwalogo Fujumo.
