Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Murphy Owonaru made the kick off which started today's match. In the 3rd match minute, Daniel united was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Akpan Hashimu to maneuver through the defense. Ekechukwu Olaniyi took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 12th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Chidinma Udenkwele. Falcons FC's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Abass Otelaja in the 14th minute of play forced Falcons FC's goalkeeper Chidinma Udenkwele to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 17th minute, Jamilu Alerechi reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Aderounmu Njoku. The goal made the score 1-0. With splendid footwork Murphy Owonaru arrived in front of goal to shoot 2-0 by the left pole in the game's 20th minute. When Robai Julius Abulu fell near the penalty area in the 24th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Daniel united's protests and gave Robai Julius Abulu a yellow card for diving instead. Robai Julius Abulu hit a great freekick 24 minutes into the match. In the 25th minute, Nezie Adeegbe got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Jamilu Alerechi's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Aderounmu Njoku firmly grabbed it by the left post. Aderounmu Njoku showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Joseph Alachi in the 33rd minute of the match. Daniel united's Bamisile Aghanya got a good chance for a goal in the 41st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 45 minutes into the game, Bamisile Aghanya cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 4-1. Chidinma Udenkwele was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Bamisile Aghanya to strike the kick off in the second half. Jamilu Alerechi fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 52nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Aderounmu Njoku having to interfere. 55 minutes into the match, Daniel united's goal looked a bit too open when Chidubem Adanri came free, but Aderounmu Njoku reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. With a little luck, Falcons FC's Chidinma Udenkwele got control of the ball when Bamisile Aghanya tried to sneak it across the goal line. Aderounmu Njoku made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jamilu Alerechi in the 57th minute of play. Nezie Adeegbe stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Aderounmu Njoku. 6-1. Aderounmu Njoku took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Murphy Owonaru, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 80 minutes, Akpan Hashimu mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Daniel united and the Falcons FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. Akpan Hashimu hit a great freekick 80 minutes into the match. Aderounmu Njoku showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jamilu Alerechi in the 84th minute of the match. Bamisile Aghanya received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 85th minute.
