Spectators: 8153 (Terracing: 6000, Seating: 2123, VIP seats: 30) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Murphy Owonaru started the match with the kick off. In the 2nd minute, Jamilu Alerechi hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Chidinma Udenkwele made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Awenayeri Ajanaku in the 5th minute of play. Kabiru Onanuga took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Murphy Owonaru, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Benson Lala's late challenge caught a Shoeburynesss's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Benson Lala helped the player get up and apologised. Benson Lala hit a great freekick 12 minutes into the match. With a little luck, Falcons FC's Chidinma Udenkwele got control of the ball when Tang Zhi Hai tried to sneak it across the goal line. Chidinma Udenkwele made an important save on a dangerous shot by Tang Zhi Hai in the 15th minute. In the 16th match minute, Falcons FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Joseph Alachi to maneuver through the defense. With a little luck, Falcons FC's Chidinma Udenkwele got control of the ball when Tang Zhi Hai tried to sneak it across the goal line. A collision led to Falcons FC getting a freekick after 17 minutes play. Benson Lala hit a great ball. 22 minutes into the match, Falcons FC's goalkeeper Chidinma Udenkwele had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Tang Zhi Hai. An unexpectedly hard shot by Chiganu Agboola in the 23rd minute of play forced Falcons FC's goalkeeper Chidinma Udenkwele to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Tang Zhi Hai came free with the goalkeeper in the 26th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Chidinma Udenkwele could save by the left post. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Awenayeri Ajanaku in the 33rd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Chidinma Udenkwele saved Falcons FC from getting behind. In the 34th minute, Tang Zhi Hai got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Kabiru Onanuga took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Murphy Owonaru, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 41st minute there was a penalty for Shoeburynesss. Rashidi Okigbo stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Chidinma Udenkwele. 1-0. Chidubem Adanri struck a weak shot in the 44th minute. Kabiru Onanuga didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Falcons FC. Af the end of the first half the score was 1-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Awenayeri Ajanaku stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. If Awenayeri Ajanaku had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 53rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 55th minute, Awenayeri Ajanaku got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Chidubem Adanri kicked well hit freekick during the 59th minute of the match. Well-Well Kachalla kicked well hit freekick during the 61st minute of the match. Joseph Alachi kicked well hit freekick during the 65th minute of the match. Falcons FC's Chidinma Udenkwele played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Tang Zhi Hai in the 65th minute of play. In the 67th minute, Nko Oguntade hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After some fancy dribbling in the 69th minute, Chidubem Adanri managed to get in a good position for a shot. Falcons FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Chidubem Adanri was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Kabiru Onanuga breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After a rather tough play, Shoeburynesss's Ginikanwa Ihebulu got a free kick in the 76th minute. Chidinma Udenkwele took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Awenayeri Ajanaku, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. If Tang Zhi Hai had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 85th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 86 minutes into the game, Odetayo Abe was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Shoeburynesss's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Falcons FC the free kick. After 87 played minutes Shoeburynesss got a freekick which was hit by Odetayo Abe. Falcons FC's Chidinma Udenkwele played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Awenayeri Ajanaku in the 89th minute of play. 95 minutes into the match, Tang Zhi Hai notched a goal, 2-0, to the right of Falcons FC's Chidinma Udenkwele. Chidinma Udenkwele was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. When the referee ended the match the Shoeburynesss players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
