Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Hellfire FC's Osi Hamma started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 15 minutes into the match, Hellfire FC's goal looked a bit too open when Tochi Oluwafemi came free, but Erhabor Wadada reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 17 minutes of play, Yoruba FC's Tochi Oluwafemi made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Erhabor Wadada was left in no man's land by his defense there! Ginikanwa Kalipa fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 23rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Erhabor Wadada having to interfere. In the 26thth minute of the game Tochi Oluwafemi who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Hellfire FC's Erhabor Wadada was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. After 31 played minutes Yoruba FC got a freekick which was hit by Eby Abodunrin. After some careless play in the Hellfire FC defense, Tochi Oluwafemi kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Erhabor Wadada. The Hellfire FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Erhabor Wadada should have stopped the shot. Erhabor Wadada made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Tochi Oluwafemi in the 39th minute of play. Erhabor Wadada showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Festus Owotoki in the 45th minute of the match. Erhabor Wadada made a fantastic save in the 61st minute, when Tochi Oluwafemi sent off a good shot on target. After a defensive mix-up in Hellfire FC's zone, Eby Abodunrin stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Erhabor Wadada came out of the goal and Eby Abodunrin tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The crowd rose to their feet as Yoruba FC's Tochi Oluwafemi slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Erhabor Wadada. That made the score 0-3 after 76 minutes of play. After a defensive mix-up in Hellfire FC's zone, Tochi Oluwafemi stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Erhabor Wadada came out of the goal and Tochi Oluwafemi tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Yoruba FC's Tochi Oluwafemi was standing unmarked in front of the goal when he, in the 82nd play minute, got the ball and easily drilled it into the goal. When Yoruba FC's Tochi Oluwafemi in the 87th minute got a chance for a shot 87th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. In the 97thth minute of the game Tochi Oluwafemi who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Hellfire FC's Erhabor Wadada was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. When the match was over Yoruba FC could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Hellfire FC throughout the match.
