The supporters of Juju booed when Paulinam fc was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 18 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ebii Onwumechili didn't get a good kick on the ball. Through an outstanding action, after 21 minutes, Obialo Onyemachi successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. In the 22nd match minute, Paulinam fc was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ebii Onwumechili to maneuver through the defense. After 24 minutes Paulinam fc's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Olaka Ekeh who took care of the corner kick. A nice corner shot did that Olaka Ekeh got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Obialo Onyemachi quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. In the 35th minute, Juju's Olakunde Oyebanjo dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-0. Adeshina Awosupin could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 43rd minute of the match, but Obialo Onyemachi made a huge save. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 1-0 at half-time.

The wind increased when Okelola Etafia made the kick off in the second half. Adeshina Awosupin fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 56th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Obialo Onyemachi having to interfere. A throw-in in the 59th minute of the game was made by Ndu Ajatta with Edwin Ogbara as target, who quickly passed the ball forward. The crowd rose to their feet as Okelola Etafia kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Gabriel Aguebor. That made the score 1-1 in the 63 minute of play. Chukwukadibia Adepoju scored 2-1 in the 68th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Obialo Onyemachi, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Nwachukwu Alaba's late challenge caught a Paulinam fc's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Nwachukwu Alaba helped the player get up and apologised. Nwachukwu Alaba kicked well hit freekick during the 73rd minute of the match. Obialo Onyemachi showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Olakunde Oyebanjo in the 84th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Edwin Ogbara in the 86th minute of play forced Paulinam fc's goalkeeper Obialo Onyemachi to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 87 minutes into the match, Paulinam fc's goal looked a bit too open when Adeshina Awosupin came free, but Obialo Onyemachi reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Obialo Onyemachi took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Adeshina Awosupin, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. Juju fully deserved thier win.
