The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Choice Al-Makura struck a weak shot in the 3rd minute. Ifeanyichukwu Anyamkegh didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Highland Eagles AFC. Nwokike Douglas sent away a hard shot on goal in the 5th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Ifeanyichukwu Anyamkegh came out of the goal in the 8th minute to try and stop a shot by Highland Eagles AFC's Uzochukwu Etuhu. But to his dismay, Uzochukwu Etuhu quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. After 12 minutes of play, Highland Eagles AFC's Uzochukwu Etuhu made it 0-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Ifeanyichukwu Anyamkegh was left in no man's land by his defense there! Ijebusomma Daika hit a great freekick 14 minutes into the match. Ifeanyichukwu Anyamkegh made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ikechukwu Garo in the 16th minute of play. The supporters of Highland Eagles AFC booed when Sinister Ark was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 17 match minutes in a wonderful position. Chinua Ibekwe didn't get a good kick on the ball. Ifeanyichukwu Anyamkegh stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Uzochukwu Etuhu's shot from short distance in the 21st minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Bitrus Abia in the 23rd minute of play forced Sinister Ark's goalkeeper Ifeanyichukwu Anyamkegh to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Ifeanyichukwu Anyamkegh made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Bitrus Abia in the 25th minute of play. Ifeanyichukwu Anyamkegh took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ikechukwu Garo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Ifeanyichukwu Anyamkegh made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Nwokeocha Obiyo in the 28th minute of play. 29 minutes into the game, Chinua Ibekwe was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Sinister Ark's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Highland Eagles AFC the free kick. In the 29th minute, Chinua Ibekwe hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Bitrus Abia in the 31st managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Ifeanyichukwu Anyamkegh saved Sinister Ark from getting behind. 32 minutes into the game, Highland Eagles AFC's Uzochukwu Etuhu nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Ifeanyichukwu Anyamkegh made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-3. Nwokeocha Obiyo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 40th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Ifeanyichukwu Anyamkegh showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ikechukwu Garo in the 44th minute of the match. Highland Eagles AFC were awarded a corner in the 45th minute after Sinister Ark's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Nwokeocha Obiyo took the corner. A well-hit corner resulted in Ikechukwu Garo heading the ball towards the goal, but to his dismay he misdirected it and missed the goal completely. After 47 minutes of play Sinister Ark's Chinua Ibekwe was too eager in his attempt to stop his opponent and brought him down. With that he got his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. The supporters of Highland Eagles AFC booed when Sinister Ark was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 47 match minutes in a wonderful position. Chinua Ibekwe didn't get a good kick on the ball. Sinister Ark's Ifeanyichukwu Anyamkegh played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Uzochukwu Etuhu in the 48th minute of play. The Sinister Ark players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Highland Eagles AFC were winning 0-4.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Uzochukwu Etuhu to strike the kick off in the second half. 53 minutes into the game, Uzochukwu Etuhu cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-5. Ifeanyichukwu Anyamkegh was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. After some fancy dribbling in the 55th minute, Uzoma Amaechina managed to get in a good position for a shot. Highland Eagles AFC's supporters rose to their feet, but Uzoma Amaechina was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Ifeanyichukwu Anyamkegh breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After 57th play minutes Nwokeocha Obiyo shot 0-6, a short shot which went by Ifeanyichukwu Anyamkegh and just under the crossbar into goal. Ifeanyichukwu Anyamkegh made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Nwokeocha Obiyo in the 61st minute of play. Ifeanyichukwu Anyamkegh made a fantastic save in the 65th minute, when Uzochukwu Etuhu sent off a good shot on target. Highland Eagles AFC's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Nwokeocha Obiyo in the 66th minute. Sinister Ark's Ifeanyichukwu Anyamkegh proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 68th minute of the match, managed to save Sinister Ark from getting a goal against them. After a rather tough play, Sinister Ark's Ekperikpe Shaba got a free kick in the 68th minute. Uzochukwu Etuhu succeeded to score despite a near miss that spronge from right pole into the goal to 0-8 in the 69th playminute. Ikechukwu Garo took the ball and in the 74 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Ifeanyichukwu Anyamkegh. Ifeanyichukwu Anyamkegh dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-9. In the 77th minute, Nwokike Douglas got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 79 minutes into the game, Uzoma Amaechina cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-10. Ifeanyichukwu Anyamkegh was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. An unexpected shot in the 84th minute by Uzochukwu Etuhu got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. In the 87th minute, Uzoma Amaechina hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Nwokeocha Obiyo succeeded to score despite a near miss that spronge from right pole into the goal to 0-12 in the 89th playminute. In the 94th minute, Ekperikpe Shaba hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Ifeanyichukwu Anyamkegh showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Bitrus Abia in the 95th minute of the match. If Bitrus Abia had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 97th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When the match was over Highland Eagles AFC could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Sinister Ark throughout the match.
