When Jamilu Alerechi fell near the penalty area in the 10th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Falcons FC's protests and gave Jamilu Alerechi a yellow card for diving instead. When Eluemuno Eghagha came up free with the goalie in the 11th minute, the Neen Sollars fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Eluemuno Eghagha couldn't finish the play. In the 13th minute Chidubem Adanri shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Egobudike Ishola saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Ekpeyong Koshonis short, quick shot in the 15thth minute got Chidinma Udenkwele to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. 18 minutes into the match, Murphy Owonaru had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Egobudike Ishola. Neen Sollars's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Murphy Owonaru was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. After 21 played minutes Neen Sollars got a freekick which was hit by Ekpeyong Koshoni. Chidinma Udenkwele made an important save on a dangerous shot by Ekpeyong Koshoni in the 24th minute. After a rather tough play, Falcons FC's Joseph Alachi got a free kick in the 25th minute. Ekpeyong Koshoni could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 35th minute of the match, but Chidinma Udenkwele made a huge save. A collision led to Neen Sollars getting a freekick after 36 minutes play. Eluemuno Nwobodo hit a great ball.

In the 51st minute, Nezie Adeegbe sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and Neen Sollars's Egobudike Ishola didn't even have to move. Chidubem Adanri took the ball and in the 53 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Egobudike Ishola. Egobudike Ishola dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-2. An unexpectedly hard shot by Eluemuno Eghagha in the 57th minute of play forced Falcons FC's goalkeeper Chidinma Udenkwele to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After having played for 60 minutes, Ekpeyong Koshoni managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Neen Sollars's supporters crossed their fingers, but Ekpeyong Koshoni was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 62ndth minute of the game Eluemuno Eghagha who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Falcons FC's Chidinma Udenkwele was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 70th match minute, Neen Sollars was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Onodugo Agbo to maneuver through the defense. Egobudike Ishola showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Murphy Owonaru in the 71st minute of the match. During the 74th minute of the match Jamilu Alerechi completely mistimed his tackle and brought down his opponent. The referee gave Jamilu Alerechi a yellow card, his second in the match, which meant he could no longer take part in the game. After 75 played minutes, Neen Sollars's Ozo Bamgbelu shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Chidinma Udenkwele came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Neen Sollars reached it. In the 76th minute, Chidubem Adanri got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After a rather tough play, Neen Sollars's Onodugo Agbo got a free kick in the 77th minute. Egobudike Ishola made a fantastic save in the 78th minute, when Chidubem Adanri sent off a good shot on target. If Eluemuno Eghagha had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 85th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When Neen Sollars's Eluemuno Eghagha in the 87th minute got a chance for a shot 87th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Falcons FC's goalie prevented a goal. Neen Sollars's Egobudike Ishola proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 90th minute of the match, managed to save Neen Sollars from getting a goal against them. After having played for 91 minutes, Ekpeyong Koshoni managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Neen Sollars's supporters crossed their fingers, but Ekpeyong Koshoni was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Nezie Adeegbe kicked well hit freekick during the 92nd minute of the match. The Neen Sollars supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Falcons FC's performance. The match ended with a win for Falcons FC.
