Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) After having played for 2 minutes, Uzochukwu Etuhu managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Highland Eagles AFC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Uzochukwu Etuhu was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Iheanacho Omole stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Uzochukwu Etuhu's shot from short distance in the 4th minute. A collision led to Theorah FC getting a freekick after 6 minutes play. Otutodilichukwu Daika hit a great ball. Nwokeocha Obiyo took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 7th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Iheanacho Omole. Theorah FC's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. 13 minutes into the game, Highland Eagles AFC's Uzochukwu Etuhu nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Iheanacho Omole made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. After 16th play minutes Bitrus Abia shot 0-2, a short shot which went by Iheanacho Omole and just under the crossbar into goal. Iheanacho Omole stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Ikechukwu Garo's shot from short distance in the 19th minute. 21 minutes into the match, Theorah FC's goal looked a bit too open when Bitrus Abia came free, but Iheanacho Omole reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ikechukwu Garo in the 35th minute of play forced Theorah FC's goalkeeper Iheanacho Omole to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 36 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Theorah FC! After 41 minutes of play, Highland Eagles AFC's Bitrus Abia made it 0-4 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Iheanacho Omole was left in no man's land by his defense there! 45 minutes into the game, Ikechukwu Garo cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-5. Iheanacho Omole was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-5 lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Chukwujamuike Onwuzuruike to make the kick off. Iheanacho Omole made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ikechukwu Garo in the 52nd minute of play. In the 54th minute Uzochukwu Etuhu shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Iheanacho Omole saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Bitrus Abia sent away a hard shot on goal in the 58th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. With his leg Iheanacho Omole managed to avoid a goal in the 62ndth minute, when Highland Eagles AFC's Uzochukwu Etuhu fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. A hard shot 66 in the game by Uzochukwu Etuhu from a close distance when the talented Iheanacho Omole managed to make a qualified save. Theorah FC's players were relieved. After 67 played minutes Bitrus Abia rounded Theorah FC's defense and shot a beautiful shot into goal via left pole - 0-6. 72 minutes into the match, Theorah FC's goal looked a bit too open when Bitrus Abia came free, but Iheanacho Omole reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Iheanacho Omole came out of the goal in the 72nd minute to try and stop a shot by Highland Eagles AFC's Bitrus Abia. But to his dismay, Bitrus Abia quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-7. A collision led to Highland Eagles AFC getting a freekick after 75 minutes play. Abishai Adefarakan hit a great ball. The supporters of Theorah FC booed when Highland Eagles AFC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 78 match minutes in a wonderful position. Abishai Adefarakan didn't get a good kick on the ball. Iheanacho Omole was out of position in the 80 minute of play, and Ikechukwu Garo capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Ikechukwu Garo really showed his touch with that goal: 0-8. In the 83rd match minute Nwokeocha Obiyo ran free in the middle of the field and shot a long shot which scored behind a totally surprised Iheanacho Omole. 0-9. An unexpectedly hard shot by Bitrus Abia in the 86th minute of play forced Theorah FC's goalkeeper Iheanacho Omole to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Theorah FC's Iheanacho Omole played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Uzochukwu Etuhu in the 92nd minute of play. 93 minutes into the game, Akin Fasuba was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Theorah FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Highland Eagles AFC the free kick. When the match clock showed 95 minutes, the score became 0-11 when Uzochukwu Etuhu sped through Theorah FC's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Iheanacho Omole. Highland Eagles AFC played a much better game than Theorah FC and deserved their victory. The Theorah FC players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
