Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Murphy Owonaru took the kick off in the first half of the match. Murphy Owonaru received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Ikem Isu came out and tried to block the shot, but Murphy Owonaru slotted it home off the left post making it 1-0 in the 5th minute. Jamilu Alerechi could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 16th minute of the match, but Ikem Isu made a huge save. Ikem Isu showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Murphy Owonaru in the 17th minute of the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 19th minute, Nwabugwu Bichi managed to get in a good position for a shot. Birkk FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Nwabugwu Bichi was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Chidinma Udenkwele breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Ikem Isu made an important save on a dangerous shot by Chidubem Adanri in the 21st minute. 22 minutes into the game, Achebe Okeke cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-1. Chidinma Udenkwele was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Ikem Isu was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Murphy Owonaru showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 2-1 in the 25 minute of play. Birkk FC's Ikem Isu played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Nezie Adeegbe in the 32nd minute of play. Birkk FC's Ikem Isu proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 36th minute of the match, managed to save Birkk FC from getting a goal against them. 38 minutes into the match, Birkk FC's goal looked a bit too open when Murphy Owonaru came free, but Ikem Isu reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Ikem Isu was out of position in the 41 minute of play, and Joseph Alachi capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Joseph Alachi really showed his touch with that goal: 3-1. Chidubem Adanri could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 44th minute of the match, but Ikem Isu made a huge save. 45 minutes into the game, Murphy Owonaru recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Ikem Isu. Murphy Owonaru showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 4-1. Af the end of the first half the score was 4-1. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Achebe Okeke to make the kick off. If Chidubem Adanri had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 53rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Ikem Isu made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Murphy Owonaru in the 55th minute of play. In the 56th minute Joseph Alachi shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ikem Isu saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Ikem Isu showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Joseph Alachi, who was totally free with the ball in the 58th minute. Ikem Isu showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Murphy Owonaru in the 59th minute of the match. After 63 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Falcons FC! In the 64th minute, the referee gave Birkk FC a penalty. Nna Ogbo looked confident and blasted the ball into goal by the left post, totally unstoppable for Chidinma Udenkwele. An unexpectedly hard shot by Chidubem Adanri in the 70th minute of play forced Birkk FC's goalkeeper Ikem Isu to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 73 minutes into the game, Murphy Owonaru was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Falcons FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Birkk FC the free kick. The supporters of Birkk FC booed when Falcons FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 74 match minutes in a wonderful position. Murphy Owonaru didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 76th minute, Joseph Alachi ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Ikem Isu was frozen by the shot and now it was 5-2. 79 minutes into the game, Falcons FC's Chidubem Adanri nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Ikem Isu made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 6-2. Ikem Isu showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Benson Lala in the 83rd minute of the match. After some careless play in the Birkk FC defense, Murphy Owonaru kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Ikem Isu. The Birkk FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Ikem Isu should have stopped the shot. Toluwalogo Fujumo was astounded when the referee showed him the red card after a seemingly innocent challenge, 88 minutes into the match. After 88 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Birkk FC! Ikem Isu went to the wrong direction when Nezie Adeegbe was taking care of the penalty kick which however missed the goal. After some careless play in the Birkk FC defense, Chidubem Adanri kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Ikem Isu. The Birkk FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Ikem Isu should have stopped the shot. After 99 played minutes Falcons FC got a freekick which was hit by Murphy Owonaru. There was no doubt that Falcons FC were the better team. Falcons FC's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
