Uchieze Okon hit a great freekick 12 minutes into the match. 18 minutes into the match, Birkk FC's goal looked a bit too open when Chukwujamuike Onwuzuruike came free, but Ikem Isu reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 43 played minutes Theorah FC got a freekick which was hit by Tamarautare Chinemenma. In the 47th minute, Yege Abhiele made a precise shot to the right of Ikem Isu. Birkk FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-1. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Chukwujamuike Onwuzuruike to strike the kick off in the second half. The Theorah FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-2. Kayode Ekhosuehi hit a great freekick 70 minutes into the match. 71 minutes into the match, Nna Ogbo notched a goal, 2-2, to the right of Theorah FC's Iheanacho Omole. Iheanacho Omole was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Nwabugwu Bichi sent away a hard shot on goal in the 73rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Ikem Isu made an important save on a dangerous shot by Akin Fasuba in the 94th minute. Chukwujamuike Onwuzuruike kicked well hit freekick during the 96th minute of the match. Ikem Isu was out of position in the 100 minute of play, and Otutodilichukwu Daika capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Otutodilichukwu Daika really showed his touch with that goal: 2-4. Theorah FC played a much better game than Birkk FC and deserved their victory. The Birkk FC players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
