Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Olakunde Oyebanjo kicked off to start the match. In the 4th minute, Jamilu Alerechi hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Adeshina Awosupin did some fancy footwork in front of goal and succeeded to deceive the defenders so he could slam the ball in 1-0 to the left of a surprised Chidinma Udenkwele 8 minutes into the match. Jamilu Alerechi charged in rather forcefully in the 10th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Jamilu Alerechi the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The supporters of Juju booed when Falcons FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 11 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jamilu Alerechi didn't get a good kick on the ball. Chidinma Udenkwele was in exellent shape and made a fantastic save when he, in the 11th minute of the match, managed to get hold of the ball after a long shot from Olaka Ekeh. Olakunde Oyebanjo got in the 15th a clear chance and fired away a hard shot against goal, but Chidinma Udenkwele handled the situation perfectly and made a save by the crossbar. With a little luck, Falcons FC's Chidinma Udenkwele got control of the ball when Adeshina Awosupin tried to sneak it across the goal line. Gabriel Aguebor took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Murphy Owonaru, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When Adeshina Awosupin came up free with the goalie in the 21st minute, the Juju fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Adeshina Awosupin couldn't finish the play. Joseph Alachi's long shot made the audience stand up and applaude when it rumbled by Gabriel Aguebor on his right side and into the goal. 23 minutes into the game it was 1-1. In the 26thth minute of the game Olakunde Oyebanjo who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Falcons FC's Chidinma Udenkwele was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 28th match minute, Falcons FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Joseph Alachi to maneuver through the defense. Chidinma Udenkwele made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Olakunde Oyebanjo in the 30th minute of play. With his leg Chidinma Udenkwele managed to avoid a goal in the 35thth minute, when Juju's Adeshina Awosupin fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Olakunde Oyebanjo struck a weak shot in the 42nd minute. Chidinma Udenkwele didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Juju. Olakunde Oyebanjo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 45th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Chidinma Udenkwele having to interfere.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Murphy Owonaru to make the kick off. An unexpectedly hard shot by Olakunde Oyebanjo in the 52nd minute of play forced Falcons FC's goalkeeper Chidinma Udenkwele to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Chidubem Adanri sent away a hard shot on goal in the 54th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. With a little luck, Juju's Gabriel Aguebor got control of the ball when Chidubem Adanri tried to sneak it across the goal line. If Chidubem Adanri had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 59th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a defensive mix-up in Juju's zone, Chidubem Adanri stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Gabriel Aguebor came out of the goal and Chidubem Adanri tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Adeshina Awosupin received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 70th minute. Chidinma Udenkwele tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Murphy Owonaru fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 74th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Gabriel Aguebor having to interfere. After some careless play in the Falcons FC defense, Olakunde Oyebanjo kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Chidinma Udenkwele. The Falcons FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Chidinma Udenkwele should have stopped the shot. In the 89th minute Olakunde Oyebanjo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Chidinma Udenkwele saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 92nd minute, Olakunde Oyebanjo left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Juju fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 3-1. Jamilu Alerechi took the ball and in the 98 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Gabriel Aguebor. Gabriel Aguebor dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 3-2. Juju were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of Falcons FC for a fine match.
