Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Eluemuno Eghagha kicked off to start the match. Ijeagha adegbenjo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 3rd minute. Egobudike Ishola tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Akpan Hashimu's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Egobudike Ishola read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 15th minute of play. The supporters of Daniel united booed when Neen Sollars was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 16 match minutes in a wonderful position. Chinua Adekoje didn't get a good kick on the ball. A collision led to Neen Sollars getting a freekick after 18 minutes play. Onodugo Agbo hit a great ball. Egobudike Ishola made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ijeagha adegbenjo in the 19th minute of play. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Ijeagha adegbenjo in the 20th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Egobudike Ishola saved Neen Sollars from getting behind. Ijeagha adegbenjo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 24th minute. Egobudike Ishola tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. A collision led to Neen Sollars getting a freekick after 25 minutes play. Amalu Ani hit a great ball. Eluemuno Eghagha recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 28th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Daniel united's Aderounmu Njoku played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Onodugo Agbo in the 29th minute of play. After 30 played minutes Daniel united got a freekick which was hit by Akpan Hashimu. Ijeagha adegbenjo scored 0-1 in the 33rd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Egobudike Ishola, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. After 40 played minutes, Daniel united's Abass Otelaja shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Egobudike Ishola came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Daniel united reached it. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ijeli Mbong in the 48th minute of play forced Neen Sollars's goalkeeper Egobudike Ishola to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After the first half Daniel united were leading 0-1. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Ijeagha adegbenjo stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Daniel united's Ijeli Mbong got a good chance for a goal in the 54th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Aderounmu Njoku took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ekpeyong Koshoni, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The audience thought a goal was coming when Akpan Hashimu got free with Egobudike Ishola in the 65th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Ekpeyong Koshoni received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 66th minute. Aderounmu Njoku tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Aderounmu Njoku took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Eluemuno Eghagha, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After a rather tough play, Neen Sollars's Chinua Adekoje got a free kick in the 77th minute. After 80 played minutes Daniel united got a freekick which was hit by Akpan Hashimu. Aderounmu Njoku came out of the goal in the 82nd minute to try and stop a shot by Neen Sollars's Eluemuno Eghagha. But to his dismay, Eluemuno Eghagha quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-1. When Eluemuno Eghagha fell near the penalty area in the 94th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Neen Sollars's protests and gave Eluemuno Eghagha a yellow card for diving instead. Eluemuno Eghagha kicked well hit freekick during the 94th minute of the match. Daniel united were disappointed that they only managed a draw, even though they felt themselves to be the better team.
