The audience thought a goal was coming when Abass Otelaja got free with Egobudike Ishola in the 6th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Daniel united's Aderounmu Njoku played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Chinua Adekoje in the 7th minute of play. When Daniel united's Ijeagha adegbenjo in the 8th minute got a chance for a shot 8th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Neen Sollars's goalie prevented a goal. Akpan Hashimu fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 11th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Egobudike Ishola having to interfere. In the 14th minute, Jere Ugo Osafo hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After having played for 15 minutes, Ekpeyong Koshoni managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Neen Sollars's supporters crossed their fingers, but Ekpeyong Koshoni was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Ijeagha adegbenjo who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 18thth minute tested the skills of Egobudike Ishola when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Akpan Hashimu recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 20th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After a rather tough play, Daniel united's Akpan Hashimu got a free kick in the 26th minute. Onodugo Agbo took the ball and in the 27 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Aderounmu Njoku. Aderounmu Njoku dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. Neen Sollars's Ekpeyong Koshoni got a good chance for a goal in the 35th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. An unexpectedly hard shot by Onodugo Agbo in the 37th minute of play forced Daniel united's goalkeeper Aderounmu Njoku to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Ekpeyong Koshoni fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 39th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Aderounmu Njoku having to interfere. Jere Ugo Osafo kicked well hit freekick during the 40th minute of the match. Ijeagha adegbenjos short, quick shot in the 42ndth minute got Egobudike Ishola to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. A collision led to Neen Sollars getting a freekick after 42 minutes play. Eluemuno Nwobodo hit a great ball. The Daniel united players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Neen Sollars were winning 0-1.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Eluemuno Eghagha was the one to do the kick off. A collision led to Neen Sollars getting a freekick after 50 minutes play. Eluemuno Nwobodo hit a great ball. Aderounmu Njoku made a fantastic save in the 59th minute, when Ekpeyong Koshoni sent off a good shot on target. Ijeagha adegbenjo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 60th minute. Egobudike Ishola tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After a rather tough play, Neen Sollars's Eluemuno Nwobodo got a free kick in the 62nd minute. Chinua Adekoje fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 67th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Aderounmu Njoku having to interfere. In the 69th minute, Ekpeyong Koshoni made a precise shot to the right of Aderounmu Njoku. Daniel united's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-2. Through an outstanding action, after 74 minutes, Aderounmu Njoku successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. Egobudike Ishola showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ijeagha adegbenjo in the 82nd minute of the match. Ekpeyong Koshoni scored 1-3 in the 83rd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Aderounmu Njoku, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Aderounmu Njoku made an important save on a dangerous shot by Ekpeyong Koshoni in the 89th minute.
