Birkk FC's goalkeeper couldn't reach when Eluemuno Eghagha 10 minutes into the game got a good kick on the ball which found its way into goal just inside left pole. 1-0. After a rather tough play, Neen Sollars's Ejiofor Misau got a free kick in the 13th minute. In the 14thth minute of the game Achebe Okeke who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Neen Sollars's Egobudike Ishola was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 16th minute, Neen Sollars's Eluemuno Eghagha ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Ikem Isu. Ikem Isu yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 2-0. The referee felt a red card was in order, 18 minutes into the game, when Ayoade Brisibe put in a rough tackle. After a rather tough play, Birkk FC's Ayoade Brisibe got a free kick in the 19th minute. Ekpeyong Koshoni could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 22nd minute of the match, but Ikem Isu made a huge save. 23 minutes into the game, Obidimkpa Ahmed was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Birkk FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Neen Sollars the free kick. After 23 played minutes Birkk FC got a freekick which was hit by Obidimkpa Ahmed. After recieving a nice pass, Neen Sollars's Ozo Bamgbelu tried to score from far away in the 24th minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. After a rather tough play, Birkk FC's Nna Ogbo got a free kick in the 25th minute. Ikem Isu showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Eluemuno Eghagha, who was totally free with the ball in the 28th minute. Ekpeyong Koshoni received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 31st minute. Ikem Isu tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. With a little luck, Birkk FC's Ikem Isu got control of the ball when Ekpeyong Koshoni tried to sneak it across the goal line. Ikem Isu showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Chinua Adekoje, who was totally free with the ball in the 34th minute. Egobudike Ishola took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Achebe Okeke, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Achebe Okeke sent away a hard shot on goal in the 39th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 44 minutes into the game, Ekpeyong Koshoni cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 3-0. Ikem Isu was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 3-0.

If Achebe Okeke had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 53rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After some careless play in the Birkk FC defense, Onodugo Agbo kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Ikem Isu. The Birkk FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Ikem Isu should have stopped the shot. Ikem Isu took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ekpeyong Koshoni, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 62 minutes into the match, Birkk FC's goal looked a bit too open when Chinua Adekoje came free, but Ikem Isu reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The Neen Sollars fans' excitement grew in the 65th match minute when Neen Sollars's Ekpeyong Koshoni looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 5-0 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. 72 minutes into the match, Birkk FC's goal looked a bit too open when Eluemuno Eghagha came free, but Ikem Isu reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 76 played minutes Neen Sollars got a freekick which was hit by Ejiofor Misau. In the 80th minute of the match Birkk FC got a corner. Neen Sollars's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Nna Ogbo ran over to the corner to take the kick. Ikem Isu showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Eluemuno Eghagha in the 82nd minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Eluemuno Eghagha in the 86th minute of play forced Birkk FC's goalkeeper Ikem Isu to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Ikem Isu showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ekpeyong Koshoni, who was totally free with the ball in the 87th minute. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart.
