In the 33rd minute Peter Oni Ayodele shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Aderounmu Njoku saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Ijeagha adegbenjo was extremely unlucky when he, in the 35th minute, took a shot that hit the right post and went out. 37 minutes into the match, Daniel united's goal looked a bit too open when Otutodilichukwu Daika came free, but Aderounmu Njoku reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Ijeagha adegbenjo's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Iheanacho Omole read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 45th minute of play. Iheanacho Omole stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Ijeagha adegbenjo's shot from short distance in the 47th minute.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Chukwujamuike Onwuzuruike to make the kick off. Otutodilichukwu Daika could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 53rd minute of the match, but Aderounmu Njoku made a huge save. Emelogu Okechi charged in rather forcefully in the 55th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Emelogu Okechi the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 56 played minutes Daniel united got a freekick which was hit by Ijeli Mbong. In the 57th minute, Tamarautare Chinemenma hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Akpan Hashimu kicked well hit freekick during the 63rd minute of the match. In the 82ndth minute of the game Ijeagha adegbenjo who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Theorah FC's Iheanacho Omole was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Otutodilichukwu Daika kicked well hit freekick during the 85th minute of the match. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Ijeagha adegbenjo in the 87th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Iheanacho Omole saved Theorah FC from getting behind. In the 90thth minute of the game Ijeagha adegbenjo who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Theorah FC's Iheanacho Omole was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. After some careless play in the Theorah FC defense, Akpan Hashimu kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Iheanacho Omole. The Theorah FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Iheanacho Omole should have stopped the shot. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched Theorah FC eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
