Pius Animam ran back to his position shaking his head. After having played for 59 minutes, Martins Imhagwe managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Borrinchas's supporters crossed their fingers, but Martins Imhagwe was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Bosun Alapa charged in rather forcefully in the 64th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Bosun Alapa the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Bosun Alapa kicked well hit freekick during the 64th minute of the match. After a defensive mix-up in Bristol Centre's zone, Pius Animam stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Tolu Ehigie came out of the goal and Pius Animam tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Pius Animams short, quick shot in the 69thth minute got Tolu Ehigie to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. 72 minutes into the match, Borrinchas's goal looked a bit too open when Benjamin Onibuje came free, but Chi-Chi Abimbola reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a rather tough play, Borrinchas's Ojiofor Dalhatu got a free kick in the 73rd minute. With an all-out effort, Borrinchas's Tolu Ehigie threw himself towards the right post 76 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Pius Animam, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Pius Animam received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Tolu Ehigie came out and tried to block the shot, but Pius Animam slotted it home off the left post making it 0-3 in the 78th minute. Otitodilichukwu Omololu fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 82nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Tolu Ehigie having to interfere. After 83 played minutes Bristol Centre got a freekick which was hit by Chibueze Okoronkwo. In the 84th minute of the match Otitodilichukwu Omololu sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Tolu Ehigie skillfully saved the ball. Bristol Centre's Tolu Ehigie played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Martins Imhagwe in the 88th minute of play. Pius Animam's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 90thth minute, Tolu Ehigie skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. In the 91st match minute, Bristol Centre was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Bosun Alapa to maneuver through the defense. Pius Animam did some fancy footwork in front of goal and succeeded to deceive the defenders so he could slam the ball in 0-4 to the left of a surprised Tolu Ehigie 92 minutes into the match. If Pius Animam had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 95th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead.
