Spectators: 7434 (Terracing: 5500, Seating: 1750, VIP seats: 184) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Nkiruka Etim took the kick off in the first half of the match. 7 minutes into the game, Nkiruka Etim lined in a short shot 1-0 behind a frustrated Tolu Ehigie. Benjamin Onibuje received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 10th minute. Ogbonna Agunbiade tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Nkiruka Etim in the 13th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Tolu Ehigie saved Bristol Centre from getting behind. In the 16thth minute of the game Nkiruka Etim who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Bristol Centre's Tolu Ehigie was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Bristol Centre's Tolu Ehigie played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Nkiruka Etim in the 18th minute of play. A hard shot by Ogbonna Adebolu from long distance, 24 minutes into the match, got Tolu Ehigie's attention. Through a fast twist with his body, he could stop the ball from going in on his right side. Tolu Ehigie was out of position in the 34 minute of play, and Nkiruka Etim capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Nkiruka Etim really showed his touch with that goal: 2-0. In the 41st minute Nkiruka Etim shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Tolu Ehigie saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Ogbonna Adebolu sent away a hard shot on goal in the 42nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 43rd minute of the match, Nkiruka Etim tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Tolu Ehigie saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. Ogbonna Agunbiade made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Uzo Adar in the 48th minute of play. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 2-0 at half-time.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Bitrus John Egungbe made a kick off. Tolu Ehigie made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Nkiruka Etim in the 55th minute of play. Tolu Ehigie took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Nkiruka Etim, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Nkiruka Etim in the 58th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Tolu Ehigie saved Bristol Centre from getting behind. Tobenna Wambai fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 63rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Tolu Ehigie having to interfere. After 70 minutes of play, Salcombe's Nkiruka Etim made it 3-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Tolu Ehigie was left in no man's land by his defense there! A collision led to Bristol Centre getting a freekick after 73 minutes play. Benjamin Onibuje hit a great ball. When Salcombe's Nkiruka Etim in the 75th minute got a chance for a shot 75th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Bristol Centre's goalie prevented a goal. After having played for 76 minutes, Bosun Alapa managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. In the 79th minute the ball was on its way in behind Bristol Centre's goalkeeper Tolu Ehigie, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Tolu Ehigie stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Nkiruka Etim's shot from short distance in the 82nd minute. In the 83rd minute, Nkiruka Etim left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Salcombe fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 4-0. In the 91stth minute of the game Nkiruka Etim who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Bristol Centre's Tolu Ehigie was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. The audience was convinced that Nkiruka Etim's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Tolu Ehigie was relentless in the 94th minute of the game. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 95th minute of the game. One of Bristol Centre:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Salcombe:s goal. The referee gave Salcombe a penalty, 97 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Okey Gishiwari, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Bristol Centre's Tolu Ehigie. 5-0. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. Salcombe fully deserved thier win.
