Malam Ekpo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Anene Nanven Garba in the 31st minute of the match. In the 32nd match minute, Berwick Upon Tweed was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Nasidi Amaoka to maneuver through the defense. Victor Obinna Ifakachukwu hit a great freekick 34 minutes into the match. Malam Ekpo made an important save on a dangerous shot by Anene Nanven Garba in the 38th minute. Malam Ekpo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Maczerob Wasiu, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Maczerob Wasiu could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 41st minute of the match, but Malam Ekpo made a huge save. Malam Ekpo was a little too slow when Anene Nanven Garba got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 44th minute. The score was now 4-0. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 4-0.
