Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Rangers United F.C's Rabiu Bamgbelu started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Abiola Adebambo Izuogu sent away a hard shot on goal in the 4th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 8th minute, Abiola Adebambo Izuogu got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Kabiru Udoka stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Abiola Adebambo Izuogu's shot from short distance in the 11th minute. In the 13th minute the ball was on its way in behind Rangers United F.C's goalkeeper Kabiru Udoka, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Kabiru Udoka came out of the goal in the 19th minute to try and stop a shot by Long Lawford's Abiola Adebambo Izuogu. But to his dismay, Abiola Adebambo Izuogu quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. Kabiru Udoka stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Laudamus Udem's shot from short distance in the 22nd minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Abiola Adebambo Izuogu in the 23rd minute of play forced Rangers United F.C's goalkeeper Kabiru Udoka to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Chioke Zubairu received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 28th minute. Ijeli Animam tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 31 minutes of play, Long Lawford's Laudamus Udem made it 0-3 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Kabiru Udoka was left in no man's land by his defense there! 36 minutes into the match, Rangers United F.C's goal looked a bit too open when Abiola Adebambo Izuogu came free, but Kabiru Udoka reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. If Abiola Adebambo Izuogu had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 38th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Abiola Adebambo Izuogu struck a weak shot in the 40th minute. Kabiru Udoka didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Long Lawford. Laudamus Udem blasted a shot towards the goal in the 40th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Kabiru Udoka having to make a save. After having played for 44 minutes, Abiola Adebambo Izuogu managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Long Lawford's supporters crossed their fingers, but Abiola Adebambo Izuogu was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After the first half Long Lawford were leading 0-3. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Laudamus Udem to make the kick off. In the 59th minute, Laudamus Udem fired away a killer shot towards the goal that, to the delight of Kabiru Udoka, passed just outside the right post. Anene Nanven Garba received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 61st minute. Kabiru Udoka tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. With his leg Kabiru Udoka managed to avoid a goal in the 67thth minute, when Long Lawford's Abiola Adebambo Izuogu fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Abiola Adebambo Izuogu's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 69thth minute, Kabiru Udoka skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. Rangers United F.C's defense didn't have a chance, in the 77th minute, when Laudamus Udem scored to the left of an out of position Kabiru Udoka, making the score, 0-6. Laudamus Udem might have been able to make a better finish in the 82nd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Kabiru Udoka. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Laudamus Udem ran back to his position shaking his head. Rangers United F.C's Kabiru Udoka played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Anene Nanven Garba in the 86th minute of play. Kabiru Udoka showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Laudamus Udem in the 88th minute of the match. In the 89th minute, Laudamus Udem got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. If Abiola Adebambo Izuogu had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 92nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 94 minutes into the match, Rangers United F.C's goal looked a bit too open when Laudamus Udem came free, but Kabiru Udoka reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Abiola Adebambo Izuogu sent away a hard shot on goal in the 97th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Long Lawford's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
